DENVER, COLORADO: Susan Gibson and Lauren Boebert have created quite a ruckus online after both the opposition political party members made headlines for their inappropriate actions with many drawing comparisons now between the two to determine whose act is more egregious.
While Boebert, the Republican representative for Colorado had to issue an apology after she was ejected along with her male companion from a performance of the musical 'Beetlejuice' for her disruptive behavior, the Democratic candidate for the Virginia House of Delegates received massive backlash for performing sex acts with her husband online.
Why was Lauren Boebert kicked out of the concert?
The US congresswoman was kicked out of the show in Denver on September 10 for vaping, recording video and disturbing other patrons during the Sunday gig.
Various videos showing Boebert and her supposed partner groping each other while in their seats also surfaced online.
The 36-year-old and her campaign manager initially denied that she was vaping and said she was removed for being too loud but, according to the reports of 9News, the congresswoman was openly caught vaping during the conference.
A pregnant woman reportedly confronted Boebert and asked the congresswoman to stop vaping, but to no avail, the New York Post reported.
“These people in front of us were outrageous,” the unnamed woman told the outlet. “I’ve never seen anyone act like that before.”
What's more outrageous is the fact that the CCTV footage also showed Boebert's companion fondling her breasts after they had taken their seats for the musical performance.
Additionally, she was seen petting his crotch in the concert which is often attended by children and their families.
Boebert and her date were later removed by the security in the musical's second act as their outrageous act continued.
The CCTV footage showed a blurred out gesture, which reportedly appeared to be a middle finger that Boebert flashed at theater security as she was escorted out.
Lauren Boebert apologized for her action
Boebert apologized for her behavior in a statement on Friday evening, September 15.
“The past few days have been difficult and humbling, and I’m truly sorry for the unwanted attention my Sunday evening in Denver has brought to the community,” Boebert said in the apology.
She added that her “public and difficult divorce” has created a “challenging personal time for me and my entire family”.
“I’ve tried to handle it with strength and grace as best I can, but I simply fell short of my values on Sunday,” Boebert said.
She filed for divorce from her husband Jayson in May. The couple had been married for nearly 20 years.
Susan Gibson performed sex acts with her husband online
The Democratic candidate, on the other hand, received massive backlash for performing sex acts with her husband online, and asking her virtual audience to pitch in with “tips.”
Gibson is now a mother of two children and is running to represent District 57 in Richmond.
She livestreamed her sex videos on the adult streaming website Chaturbate.
The 40-year-old nurse practitioner was seen in not one or two, but over a dozen live videos with her husband on the platform.
These were reportedly posted to a publicly accessible archive on the website Recurbate in September 2022 after she declared her candidacy.
Shockingly enough, she continued to maintain her Chaturbate profile even after the announcement.
She uploaded at least one photo of herself on the site after the announcement, New York Post reported.
Susan Gibson has now criticized her opponents
“My political opponents and their Republican allies have proven they’re willing to commit a sex crime to attack me and my family because there’s no line they won’t cross to silence women when they speak up,” Susan told CNN.
“My opponent and his allies know that the people of this district are on our side on the issues, so they’re stooping to the worst gutter politics,” she added.
“There’s too much at stake in this election and I’ll never stop fighting for our community," she concluded.
Internet users react to the obscene acts
One X user, formerly known as 'Twitter', tweeted, "They are both pathetic and disgusting not fit for office. At least have some ethics and morals."
Another opined, "Dating is fine. Getting paid for sex, nope."
"I have no problem with this, she is with her husband. Looks like fun", wrote one while another penned, "They both need to be nowhere near public office."
