MIDDLETOWN, CONNECTICUT: Darcey Silva's appearance has altered dramatically over the years, as fans of the '90 Day Fiancé' franchise have seen ever since she originally appeared on Season 1 of 'Before the 90 Days' 5 years ago. Now, the TLC singer is getting heat for setting unrealistic social media goals.
'90 Day Fiancé' propelled Darcey to prominence. Her plastic surgeries frequently drew people's attention. The reality TV personality is well-known for her makeovers and several procedures. When the TLC star recently posted a series of selfies and videos of herself on Instagram, she was hit by a swarm of critics. In the captions, she wrote, "Love you all! Don’t let anyone get u down! Golden vibes! ❤️ #darceysilva."
Although she appears to be pleased with her new appearance, her followers frequently criticize her for her surgical failures. She's in the news yet again for another Photoshop mistake. On the August 28 post, one user commented, "Stop trying to normalize disfiguring women’s bodies!!" Another person chimed in, "She can hardly open her eyes they are pulled back so much." They're not done yet! Alum of '90 Day Fiancé' Darcey, and her sister Stacey Silva had "another round" of cosmetic surgery. On March 8, Comfort Zone Surgery in Istanbul, Turkey, revealed on Instagram that Darcey and Stacy had further cosmetic treatments performed by Dr Ozgur Pilanci.
Darcey and Stacey had neck lift, chin liposuction, lateral blepharoplasty (fox eyes), cheek lift, and revision rhinoplasty surgeries performed. Fans were able to witness Darcey and Stacey discuss the adjustments they wanted to make as the doctor provided tips and ideas throughout the session. While Darcey and Stacey were still in the surgery room, the film closed with before and after photographs of each of them.
The 2023 operations are not the sisters' first trip under the knife. Darcey and Stacy traveled to Turkey during season 2 of their program to undergo a "twin transformation." The reality stars had rhinoplasty, breast implants, Brazilian Butt Lifts, and Vaser lipo treatments performed on their initial visits to the facility. They also received lip lifts and the Hollywood Smile veneer package.
While the sisters suffered internet criticism for changing their looks, Darcey said they have no regrets and that it was a "spiritual" trip for them.
