NEW ZEALAND, OCEANIA: 'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' Season 2 is all set to premiere on September 25. The new season is filmed in New Zealand.
Fox revealed that the recruits will be faced "with the harsh reality of winter warfare training in the mountains of New Zealand."
The frigid terrain in New Zealand will be torturous for the contestants. The cast members will face the icebreaker drill and be submerged in a frozen lake, exposing them to near-hypothermic temperatures.
The contestants will also cross a dangerous ravine on a 4700ft high snow-capped mountain.
The FOX series brings together celebrities and puts them through intense military training, inspired by the real Special Forces selection process in the latest season.
The first season of the show premiered in early 2023 and featured celebrities like Jamie Lynn Spears, Mel B, The Bachelorette's Hannah Brown, and Carli Lloyd.
However, the upcoming season has an equally star-studded cast.
'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' Season 2 rules will make contest tougher
'Special Forces: World's Toughest Test' Season 2 contestants have to follow a strict set of rules.
Though the challenges, like diving out of a helicopter into open water or being set on fire are enough to break most people, a few rules will make it even tougher to survive in the terrain.
Season one co-winner Hannah Brown told Parade that contestants couldn't bring much stuff with them and they were not allowed to shave while filming.
In an another interview with E! News, Hannah revealed that they only get a few pairs of underwear for the 10-day experience.
According to her, "It wasn't a competition against each other; instead it's a competition within yourself."
However, the viewers can expect tougher rules this season.
