MURRAY, UTAH: Meri Brown compares the journey of healing with the journey of growth. The reality star believes in order to heal one should start taking the baby steps and not just sit by and expect things to change all of a sudden one day.
'Sister Wives' star took to Instagram on Thursday to upload a picture of hers with a friend named Tina Balser. She wrote, "Leveling up my life and business is something I'm taking a very active role in."
The star continued claiming that she has worked hard on herself ever since split with Kody Brown. She wrote, "I've worked on myself and this process over the past few years, I've crossed paths and become friends with so many amazing women who are doing the same."
Talking about the growth and change she experienced in her life, Meri wrote, "When you put yourself in situations of growth and change, the right people enter your life at the right time to be a light, to be a reminder, and to support you in your journey."
She then tagged Tina and thanked her for being the support. "This week, @tina__balser has been that person for me," wrote star.
"She reminded me that the journey to healing is similar to the journey of growth and that in order to get to the next step, you actually need to take the one right in front of you first," Meri thanked her friend Tina for teaching the lesson of healing and growth.
She added, "It's not enough just to want or hope for something, you actually need to put in the effort to make a change. You can't sit by and expect the door in front of you to open without reaching out and turning the doorknob."
The reality star ended her post, suggesting her followers what to do when they feel stuck in life. She wrote, "So next time you feel a little stuck, a little unsure of what to do next, just consider what it is you're feeling a little afraid to do. Maybe that could actually be the next step on your journey."
TLC star Meri Brown flees to New York City after Kody Brown and kid Leon's family feud continues
Kody's relationship with his and Meri's transgender kid Leon Brown is not amicable. The Sun reports that 'Sister Wives' patriarch does not support Leon and has no relationship with them.
Therefore, in order to support her kid Meri fled to New York City. She took to her Instagram to speak on the matter and allegedly slam Kody's opinions.
She started the video saying, "Hey there! Coming at you live from Central Park." The star captioned her post with "Respectfully I disagree," indirectly hinting towards Kody's opinions and views.
She added, "I am allowed to have the back of someone even though I don't agree with everything another person says."
Supporting Leon, Meri wrote, "It doesn't make sense to me that I shouldn't be allowed to support someone and their right to have an opinion, when I don't agree 100% with what that opinion is. To me this psychologist is saying that we're only allowed to have the back of someone else ONLY IF we 100% agree with them."
Claiming that she has not met anyone who agrees with her opinions, Meri wrote, "Well I don't know about you, but I've never in my life met someone who I 100% agree with, and that's not going to stop me from supporting others and their rights and opinions."
