FLAGSTAFF, ARIZONA: 'Sister Wives' Season 18 star Kody Brown's polygamy dynamic has changed after three of his wives, Meri, Janelle and Christine, separated from him.
In 'Sister Wives' season 18, the Brown family continues to navigate their new dynamic following after the wives have left Kody, promising more shocking revelations.
After his wives left, Kody had trouble processing their departures, even though he was largely responsible for them.
Now Kody's only remaining wife is Robyn and his other wives have moved on. While Christine recently got married, Meri is enjoying her singlehood.
Here's what they are up to now.
Kody Brown
Kody is a Wyoming native who began the polygamous Brown family back in 1990 when he legally married his first wife, Meri.
He then "spiritually married" his other wives, Christine, and Janelle.
However, Kody and Meri got divorced in 2014 so that he could legally marry his fourth wife, Robyn. Kody and Robyn legally married in 2014, and Meri became a spiritual wife.
Currently, Kody continues a monogamous marriage with Robyn as the other 'Sister Wives' have one by one departed throughout the previous seasons. Kody resides in his home in Flagstaff, Arizona.
Kody has a house in the Grand Canyon State, with plenty of land. The home features five bedrooms and four bathrooms and even has a wine fridge.
Kody rarely shares updates on his social media but his daughter, Gwendlyn, recently revealed he overspends on unnecessary things.
While Kody is in a legal and monogamous marriage and seems to want things to stay that way, speculation is rife that he is looking for more sisters wives.
Meri Brown
Meri Brown was Kody's first wife as the two married in 1990, they were together for over 30 years. The now ex-couple share a daughter named Leon.
The couple legally divorced in 2014 but stayed spiritually married until recently.
After Kody revealed that he did not consider Meri to be his wife and said that if she decided to go off and "marry another," she left him. However, Meri has stayed on in Arizona.
Meri was recently spotted in New York City on a business trip. She documented her NYC and London trip on Instagram as she visited multiple places.
Additionally, Meri also flaunted her much slimmer figure and shared her secret to losing weight.
Christine Brown
Christine was the first to leave Kody. After dealing with jealousy over Robyn for years, she decided to leave after feeling undervalued.
However, Christine decided to look for true happiness, rather than waiting for Kody to give her enough attention.
Christine recently got engaged to David Woolley and are living together in Utah.
The couple, who first started talking in October 2022, got close fast and often shared romantic declarations on social media after going public on Valentine's Day.
Christine and David appeared to be excited about their wedding and wanted to celebrate the occasion with their close friends and family.
Christine seems to be going for a conventional marriage model now, rather than embracing polygamy with her new man.
Ahead of sharing her happy engagement news, Christine spent the weekend vacationing with David and her daughter Truely.
The trio visited some of California's famous tourist attractions, including Universal Studios.
However, Christine also spends her time vacationing in London with her and David's children. She also shared a series of photos from her gateway.
Janelle Brown
Janelle is Kody's second wife whom he married spiritually in 1993. They were together for almost 30 years and share six children together, Logan, Hunter, Robert Garrison, Gabriel, Madison and Savanah.
Janelle and Kody's marriage was on the rocks after Seasons 16 and 17. However, Janelle resides in Arizona despite separating from Kody.
Janelle camped out on the Coyote Pass land in an RV but later moved to a new place in 2022, after her youngest daughter, Savannah, had a hard time adjusting to the living situation.
Savannah still attends school in Arizona. However, it is speculated that she will soon be joining Christine in Utah, where Meri also resides.
After a dramatic split from Kody, Janelle opted to remain single and enjoy her life with her children.
Janelle appears to be focussing on creating a new identity and continues to share her weight loss journey on social media.
She often promotes Plexus on her Instagram and also recently attended the Plexus gala in Nashville with her daughter, Maddie, and Christine. Janelle was also honoured at the Plexus convention.
Robyn Brown
Robyn is currently living with Kody in Flagstaff, Arizona. Just like Kody, Robyn rarely shares any updates about her private life on social media.
However, as Kody's polygamous marriage has ended, Robyn navigates life with Kody without needing to passive-aggressively compete with Meri, Janelle and Christine.
Robyn always wanted a monogamous marriage and has been regarded as the "favourite wife" since her addition to the family.
She continued her relationship with Kody while trying to take care of her children, Aurora Jessop, Dayton Brown and Breanna Jessop.
Although Kody adopted Robyn's three children from her previous marriage, the reality star recently revealed that she still felt that she was not truly part of the family.
