Breaking down 2023 US Open tee times with a look at the field, the purse and prize money at LACC, odds, and how fans can watch the TV coverage.

The 2023 US Open promises plenty of excitement and, at least somewhat, a mild reprieve from the drama in the golf world over the past week-plus. Los Angeles Country Club is already promising a diabolical test, one we've come to expect from the USGA over the years, but we also don't totally know what to expect having never seen the course before at this level of competition.

There are storylines abound, even outside of the PGA Tour, LIV Golf merger that has been talked about too. Scottie Scheffler has been otherworldly this season tee-to-green, but will his putter cooperate at the US Open? Could Brooks Koepka or Jon Rahm win a second major this year? Will Rory McIlroy be able to get past all of the off-course stuff to thrive?

That's all just the tip of the iceberg and you won't want to miss this week at LACC. So let's break down the 2023 US Open tee times, the prize money and purse, and all of the TV coverage and live streaming info.

Table of Contents:

US Open tee times, field 2023

Unsurprisingly given that we're talking about a major championship, the US Open field is loaded. Essentially outside of the likes of Will Zalatoris dealing with an injury, every big name in the golf world will be teeing it up with Scottie Scheffler, Jon Rahm, Brooks Koepka, Rory McIlroy, Viktor Hovland and many, many more. Let's take a look at what the field looks like entering tournament week.

That is the most updated field as of Monday, June 12, the start of US Open week.

The US Open tee times for the first and second rounds will be released on Tuesday, June 13. We will update this space when they are made available.

US Open purse and prize money for 2023

The US Open purse for the 2023 tournament at Los Angeles Country Club won't officially be released until later during tournament week. Last year, though, we saw the prize money set at a total of $17.5 million with $3.15 million going to the winner. Given the increases in major championship purses across the board so far this year, though, we should see that move closer to the $20 million payout range this week.
