SYDNEY, AUSTRALIA: Robert Irwin, 19, and his girlfriend, Rorie Buckey, 18, graced the red carpet in style at the 'Mission Impossible - Dead Reckoning Part One' premiere in Sydney on Monday night, July 3. Radiating elegance and charm, the young couple showcased their deep affection while gracefully posing for photographers as they made their red carpet debut as a couple.
Irwin donned a dashing black suit with a tuxedo-style lapel, perfectly complemented with a crisp black shirt opened at the collar and black dress shoes. Buckey looked sensational in an asymmetric black one-shoulder gown. It featured a small cut-out at the waist, adding a touch of sophistication to her ensemble. Irwin had his arm around Buckey and the couple were seen sharing jokes and giggling throughout the night.

When did Robert Irwin and Rorie Buckey start dating?
Irwin and Buckey began dating in November 2022 after being spotted walking along Brisbane’s coast before watching the sunset and cuddling. The couple is reportedly in a long-distance relationship as Irwin is in Queensland and Buckey is in Perth. Recently, the couple took a romantic trip to Perth, where they spent time getting to know each other's families. They were photographed at Perth Airport, looking completely smitten, as they could not keep their eyes off each other.
'Rorie's a sweetheart'
Amid the excitement, news surfaced that Irwin was reportedly considering popping the question to Buckey after several months of dating. Irwin's mother, Terri, expressed concerns about the young couple rushing into things. Sources revealed that Terri acknowledged Buckey's sweet nature and understood why Irwin was in love with her but she was worried the couple might rush into getting married.
"Rorie's a sweetheart and it's easy to see why he is absolutely smitten, but Terri knows the stakes are high," sources said, as per Daily Mail. Irwin, known to be romantic at heart, reportedly hopes to follow in his mother's footsteps with a quick engagement, mirroring Terri's marriage to her late husband, Steve, which took place after they dated for eight months in 1992. Irwin already has the approval of Buckey's father, Nathan.
