LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Rihanna and her husband A$AP Rocky have posed with their second child Riot Rose for the first time. In a series of photographs, the family of four appeared in a joyous mood.
In one of the images, the ‘S&M’ singer was seen holding baby Riot, while Rocky carried their firstborn RZA on his shoulders.
The mother of two also posed alone with her newborn as she leaned against a car. The other photograph showed Riot on a blanket, smiling up at his parents.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed Riot Rose in August
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their second baby in August 2023. "She loves being a mom so this is where her mind is at the moment," a source told People a few months ago.
"She is the happiest she has ever been," the source added.
Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcomed their first child RZA in May 2022. The firstborn was named RZA Athelston Mayers in honor of Wu-Tang Clan leader RZA.
It seems that Rihanna and Rocky have established a naming tradition for their children, with both names starting with the letter 'R'. Meanwhile, the choice of their new baby's name may have a connection to A$AP's recent track 'Riot', which was out in July and featured Pharrell Williams.
The ‘Umbrella’ crooner officially announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl Halftime show performance in February. It was obvious as fans couldn’t help but take notice of her baby bump.
Rihanna visited veterans during her pregnancy
Rihanna was lauded for her gesture when she ordered "huge supplies" for disabled and homeless veterans.
Sennett Devermont, the founder of the Always For The People (AFTP) Foundation, received a massive donation from Rihanna to assist disabled and homeless veterans in Los Angeles.
The artist has been involved in charity work before too. She previously offered hands-on assistance. The 35-year-old also took time to visit veterans during her first pregnancy in 2022. She went to the VA Medical Center in West Los Angeles.
She was there to truly listen to veterans living on the property," a source told Page Six. "She spent hours listening to their concerns and their issues. There wasn't a camera crew or PR," the source added.
"She actually cared," the source further said, adding, "She listened to everyone and distributed everything."
A veteran also admired the performer, "I met Rihanna, the greatest singer on Earth," they said, adding, "She donated clothes, food and she cares about the veterans."
