According to the New York Times, the church opposed the application over claims that the trademark was created "to cause confusion, tarnishment and dilution."
The church also insisted that using the word "bad" is "deceptive in that it falsely represents that Opposer, the Church or its members are bad or otherwise behaving immorally or contrary to the teachings of the Church." The case is set to be heard in court in May 2024.
'Real Housewives of Salt Lake City' Season 4 airs every Tuesday at 9 pm ET on Bravo.
