LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lisa Rinna, previously known for her part in 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', is set to feature in the third season of 'American Horror Stories'. Rinna will be appearing in an episode titled "Tapeworm" of the horror anthology series. While specific details about the episode is currently undisclosed, sources reveal that Rinna has already completed the majority of the filming and has returned to Los Angeles, reports Deadline.
'American Horror Stories' is a spinoff of 'American Horror Story', created by Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk. It features 15 episodes across two seasons, with each episode telling a unique horror tale. The news of Rinna's involvement in the spin-off has sparked mixed reactions among fans of the show. While some fans are excited to see Rinna on the show, a majority of the fans have been trolling her for it.
'So excited for it!'
One fan took to Twitter to say, "Hope she enjoys doing this episode!," while another wrote, "I so need to watch this." A third wrote, "I hope this is real." "That’s Great! Love Rinna!" wrote a fourth, while a fifth added, "Yasssssssss! So excited for it!"
'Is she gonna play the tapeworm?'
Meanwhile, several others were not a fan of this development and brutally trolled the RHOBH alum. One wrote, "I’ll be skipping that ep," and a second asked, "Is she gonna play the tapeworm?" A third wrote, "Her telling a demon to own it or what," while a fourth added, "Welp, you just ruined that for me too now." Another mocked Rinna saying, "That's perfect, she IS a tapeworm!" Another user referenced the original 'AHS' and said, "From Jessica Lange to Rinna. What a drop." A sixth wrote, "Oh no her and Kim have ruined it," while another mockingly asked, "It’s a biopic?"
'This is the longest job I have held'
This comes afer Rinna's exit from RHOBH earlier this year after eight seasons on the reality series. "This is the longest job I have held in my 35-year career and I am grateful to everyone at Bravo and all those involved in the series. It has been a fun 8-year run and I am excited for what is to come!" she said in a statement about her exit. In an interview, she said, "I think we all knew it was time. Eight years of that kind of show … What more could I have done, besides generate more memes?"
