WHEAT RIDGE, COLORADO: With her large number of followers and her strong social media presence, it's fair to say that Paige Spiranac needs no introduction. The golfer turned internet sensation is a personification of strength and she often shares glimpse of her professional and personal life with her fans.
Now, with her recent response on Instagram, Paige Spiranac reminds her fans that she does not pay any attention to the hate that she often receives on her social media accounts.
What does Spiranac want her comments section to be like?
In a recent segment where Paige answered her fans' questions on her Instagram story, the 30-year-old influencer interacted with her audience, talking about her life such as the hurdles she faces, how she plans for the future, the golf world, and about her everyday routine. A fan then asked her, "What kinds of reactions/comments on social media make you happy?" In keeping with her outspoken nature, Paige responded honestly and enthusiastically. She said, “Obviously, I love the supportive, loving comments. But something that makes me really happy is when you guys go absolutely crazy in the comments and say just the funniest things. I don’t care if it’s outrageous or over the top. I love seeing those comments.”
'You can say whatever you want'
She answered the question in a now-disappeared story. The response revealed Spiranac's desensitization to the criticism aimed at her. The former golfer additionally showed that she doesn't take anything personally as she said, “I think a lot of people follow me because my comment section is so good. So, I encourage you guys to say the most outrageous fun things in my comments. It does not offend me at all.” “Even the mean, bad comments don’t offend me. So you don’t have to worry about that. I just want my comment section to be the place where you can say whatever you want. And not worry about someone being outraged by it,” she went on to add.
She urged her followers to live authentically as themselves. Spiranac has embraced social media to express her authentic self, garnering a following greater than that of golfing legends like Tiger Woods, Rory McIlroy, and Phil Mickelson. She is a social media dynamo for golf. However, her style and attire are frequently criticized in the comment section of her tweets, Instagram photos, and stories, but that clearly does not faze her.
