NEW YORK, NEW YORK: Oscar-winning actress Mira Sorvino is rumored to join the ensemble for ABC's hit show 'Dancing With The Stars' Season 32. According to ET, Sorvino is expected to be included in the roster of participants competing in 'DWTS' upcoming season.
Neither the show nor Sorvino has confirmed the news and it was revealed that the full cast list for the show will be announced on 'Good Morning America' on Wednesday, September 13, 2023.
What happened between Mira Sorvino and Harvey Weinstein?
Sorvino starred in several of Weinstein's films and was among the first to accuse the film mogul of allegedly sexually harassing her during a project they worked together on in 1995.
Deadline reported Sorvino's disclosure that she was allegedly raped by Weinstein and that she wanted justice for all of his survivors.
Speaking during a conference with New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, she went on the record, saying “I can stand here before you and say not only was I a sexual harassment and battery victim at the hands of Mr Weinstein, but I’m also a sexual assault victim and I’m also a survivor of date rape.”
Weinstein had denied all such allegations as untrue.
