This talented 24-year-old has an impressive following of 120K on Instagram thanks to her mind-bending cardistry. Anna's extraordinary skills have been featured on numerous prestigious shows, including MTV's 'Amazingness', CW's 'Penn & Teller Fool Us' and even 'Australia's Got Talent' However, despite her undeniable talent, loyal fans couldn't help but notice a small imperfection in her performance, suggesting that she may need to work harder to reach the level of excellence required to triumph in the City of Lights, Las Vegas.
Anna DeGuzman wows with incredible card tricks
The enchanting Anna from the vibrant state of New Jersey entered the stage armed with her extraordinary skills in the field of magic. Growing up amid the bustling streets, she was inspired by famed magician Shin Lin, whose impressive artistry she incorporated into her own captivating performances. When Anna stepped into the spotlight, her nervousness was palpable, lending an endearing quality to her presence. Howie, recognizing her authenticity, praised her for being genuine rather than polished, and found her nervous but endearing demeanor a refreshing change from the norm. In fact, Howie called Anna's magic act the best he's seen so far in the season, leaving a deep impression on the seasoned judge. Heidi, fascinated by Anna's charisma, called her a breath of fresh air and admired the million-dollar smile that lit up her every move. The ever-opinionated Simon, while acknowledging her likable nature, playfully described Anna as "annoying" in her brilliance and recognized her undeniable talent and potential. Amid the anticipation came the final verdict, and with unanimous approval, all four jurors gave Anna their coveted "yes" votes, bringing her one step closer to her dreams.
'Fun act but I wasn't crazy about the end'
Even though Anna moved on to the next phase of the competition, fans were not entirely convinced of her skills and felt that she needed more time to polish her skills. One said, "The fact she’s so raw, and not 100% polished. It shows that magic takes work and real talent. I think she was really good and I love her excitement!" while another said, "She should not have gotten YESES because she was shocked her own trick worked. Which means it's not actually magic it's something she has to practice and hope it works #AGT #AmericasGotTalent it takes the magic out of the magic" Another exclaimed, "Old, predictable bar trick. Stop bringing awful acts in the show." Another added, "No lol. That was some lame ass “magic.”" Another suggested, "She's a solid magician. She's got a lane with the Cardistry. Could use that more." Another frustratedly said, "A magician is never asked if they have another trick, a comic is never asked if they have a different set, this double standard for singers gets more and more annoying."
