NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Former New Jersey Governor and Republican candidate Chris Christie recently appeared on ‘Morning Joe’ to talk about why he is running for President in 2024 and his vision for the country, however, his appearance on the morning show has left behind a trail of trolls and mockery.
In addition to calling former President Donald Trump a "coward", Christie also stated why he is in the running for President in a conversation with Joe Scarborough on ‘Morning Joe’.
According to a recent poll by CBS News titled “2024 Republican Nomination: Who Would You Vote For Today?”, Trump is leading at 62%, followed by Florida Governor Ron DeSantis who is at 16% and Christie finds himself at the end of the barrel with merely 2%.
After discussing his GOP primaries run with Scarborough, Christie took to Twitter to share a clip from ‘Morning Joe’ for which, he was relentlessly trolled.

Republican candidate Chris Christie made his intentions regarding the Presidential run clear on ‘Morning Joe’ as he said, “We have a bunch of people running for president, many of whom are running because they are cynical, many of whom are running because they see a moment of opportunity where they might take advantage to give themselves power.”
As Scarborough continued to listen, Christie continued, “I can tell you I’m running because I believed what Raegan believed. That this country when challenged by a leader who knows how to challenge their citizens, that this country will rise to even greater heights.”
Christie also took to Twitter to share the clip of him on ‘Morning Joe’ and wrote, “I believe in an America that's going to be greater tomorrow than yesterday. But this won’t happen unless we stop electing leaders who are either incompetent or too narcissistic to get it done.”

The internet users have kept in mind the recent polls as they mocked Chris Christie for allegedly being out of the Presidential race already as one person tweeted, “That leaves you out, then.” Another said, “Then you’re eliminated from contention.”
People have continued to slam Christie as one person wrote, “I believe you should NEVER be President.” Another tweeted, “You're polling at like 1%.”
Christie was also labeled a “narcissist” as one user wrote, “No one is more narcissistic than Chris Christie.” One user said, "I believe you will be less relevant tomorrow than you are today.”
