In an unexpected turn of events, Kenneth, the husband of rap sensation Nicki, has found himself in hot water once more. Kenneth, who was already on probation, broke the terms of his release by making explicit threats against Offset, Cardi's husband, on social media.
Kenneth has been struck a serious legal blow as a result of the discovery of his dangerous social media remarks. According to court papers, Kenneth has been sentenced to 120 days of house detention. The court's verdict was recently submitted, and it emphasizes the gravity of the issue.
Hours after the house arrest, Nicki took to Instagram to share some cryptic stories, which many believe were directed at Cardi. She wrote, "Can't call the cops everytime you flop. just saying," followed by a bunch of laughing-cry emojis.
On Reddit, fans took to comment on Nicki's stories as they wrote, "This is disgusting and EMBARASSING. The way she weaponizes the protecting black woman lol." Why did Kenny Petty threaten Offset?
Kenneth Petty, Nicki's husband, was sentenced to 120 days in jail for breaking the terms of his probation by uploading recordings on social media that appeared to threaten rapper Offset.
Kenneth was ordered to undergo home monitoring in a court order issued September 20 in the Central District of California after he "was recorded on video making threatening remarks to a specific individual while in the company of someone with a criminal record." The exact person listed in the order is Offset, and the tapes are related to a series of communications Petty sent to the rapper on social media on September 16.
Kenneth and part of his crew are seen outside a New York City hotel, allegedly where Offset was staying, in a video footage that went viral on social media on September 16. Among other frightening remarks in the video, Kenneth says, "Plan that vacation, you gonna be planning your funeral, pussy!"
Offset dismissed the threats in a video posted to his social media accounts. "I'm getting off a jet, he's funny," Offset said, implying that Petty was bankrupt.
Nicki Minaj denies insulting Cardi B's parenting skills
Nicki has denied disparaging rival rapper Cardi's parenting abilities during an alleged altercation at a New York Fashion Week party.
