He added, “Part of shorts is that it is vertical and it is hard to add too many things in the frame. It is something which I am learning. The thumbnails are also restrained and it is hard to fit in tons of people. I would like to think of the first frame as the thumbnail.”
He also mentioned that Autoplay is a really cool feature in YouTube that plays the first five seconds hence it is important to have a good thumbnail in the beginning. He also said that caption is also critical in the first five seconds of the video to improve the CTR. “If you make the right kind of short content you could probably go viral on all major platforms. You can share the same video on all platforms if your content is really good,” MrBeast added.
