Mika Brzezinski opens up about what motivates her
‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski shared a clip of herself working out on ‘Know Your Value’s official page with the text “empower your future” on the video.
She wrote, “I’m back in my home gym, which is basically a garage with a lot of stuff in it that I bought for my mom to help her exercise in her final years. I don’t ever lift heavy weights but I do use 5-pound weights just to add a little challenge…”
Brzezinski added, “I also use what I’ve learned from my mom’s aging process. She was always insistent that she put on her own shoes and that she was able to get up off the ground. Balance was a big issue for her."
Brzezinski went on to say, "I really hate working out in gyms. I love the great outdoors and this is not an easy adjustment for me, but I think of my mom and all the adjustments that she had to make at the end of her life. And she motivates Me.”
The caption also read, “Her memory of how she lived every day motivates me. Ready to join @mikabrzezinski in making the next 10-20 years feel like 20-30 years?! Share your tips and goals below! 💪”
