'Missing' Clint Eastwood's inner circle worried about his health amid osteoporosis fears

LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Clint Eastwood's inner circle is worried that his famously vigorous health is on the decline as the Hollywood legend hasn't been spotted in public in more than 450 days.

Insiders with knowledge noted how the 92-year-old thespian has only two small projects in post-production in which he plays himself and nothing else in the pipeline. There are heightened concerns after 'The Good, the Bad, and the Ugly' star hasn't been seen in public since February 6, 2022, when he made a special appearance at his beloved AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am tournament at Pebble Beach Golf Club.

Sources told Radar Online that the aging Hollywood toughguy has skipped the tournament this year for only the second time since 2012, despite his son Scott, 37, participating in the event at the course which is located less than three miles from Dirty Harry's home in Carmel, California. "Clint has always enjoyed great health and been vital and active despite his advancing age, but the fact that he hasn't been around as much lately has a lot of people in Hollywood worried about him," one source spilled. "It's hard to imagine him in anything other than fine form but Father Time catches up to all of us."

Meanwhile, a doctor who hasn't treated Eastwood personally offered his diagnostic assessment of the actor's health. "It looks like he has weak bones or significant osteoporosis because of the deep curve in his upper back. But everyone loses bone with aging," the physician told Radar Online.

The 'Gran Torino' star's last onscreen appearance was in the 2021 Neo-Western drama 'Cry Macho', which bombed critically and recouped only $16 million at the box office of the $33 million spent in production. Clint told the Los Angeles Times at the time that he had no plans to retire unless his audience abandoned him. "I've gotten to the point where I wondered if that was enough, but not to the point where I decided it was," he said. "If you roll out a few turkeys, they'll tell you soon enough."

Having said that, despite growing concerns for his health, an insider told The National Enquirer that the Hollywood icon has been gearing up to film what is likely his final movie. "Clint goes through spells of talking about retirement, but what’s worse for him, he feels the movie industry has retired on him," dished the source. "He’s had a 50-year partnership with Warner Brothers, but there are new people in charge there now and they were very disappointed Clint’s last movie Cry Macho bombed at the box office. He was happy to finally get a go-ahead from Warner for his new film, but he isn’t counting on it happening again."

The 'Million Dollar Baby' alum is expected to commence filming his supposed final project 'Juror No. 2' in mid-June. "He wants to do this movie as a swan song and go out in a blazing sunset," the insider explained. "Some thought Cry Macho was going to be his last film two years ago because he seemed frail even then, but the movie wasn’t well received so Clint’s gathering up the troops one last time — and hoping for a blockbuster." The source added, "It’s still a lot for a guy in his nineties. People do worry about his health. He’s the director but he’s also involved in every other aspect like the casting and he’ll likely compose the score as he’s done on his other films."
