Spoilers for ‘Secret Invasion’ Episode 3
LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: There is no denying that Marvel movies and series rely heavily on the shock factor. One such element that goes hand in hand with this shock factor is cameos by fan-favorite characters. Some of the best scenes in Marvel are born out of brilliant cameos, whether that’s in the middle of something, or during the end credits scene. So far, ‘Secret Invasion’ has used a main character death as a shock factor, but hasn’t truly tapped into potential cameos.

Before ‘Secret Invasion’ was released, there were several rumors about actress Chloe Bennet reprising her role as Daisy Johnson aka Quake. Daisy last appeared in the hit series ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ and was a fan-favorite character for the longest of time. So, it’s safe to say that after ‘Secret Invasion’ Episode 3, which is essentially the midpoint of the series, fans were quite disappointed that Daisy hadn't made an appearance so far into the story.
‘Let’s pack it up clowns’
Fans of ‘Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D’ and especially those who loved Daisy’s character were really holding their breath during ‘Secret Invasion’ Episode 3. This particular episode had a lot to unpack, barely leaving any room for a cameo. Nevertheless, fans are disappointed and giving up hope as one writes, “Oomf said no daisy in #SecretInvasion ep 3…I’m literally giving up hope🙂 let’s pack it up, clowns!” Another tweet reads, “#SecretInvasion I don't see Daisy coming back in the show. However, Marvel would be completely stupid to not bring her back in the future. Like so many people are watching Secret Invasion just for her. Come on Marvel, do the right thing.” Fans are convinced this would be the right move for ‘Secret Invasion’ amidst a Skrull invasion, as one writes, “I feel like it’s almost certain now that Daisy won’t be in #SecretInvasion – maybe the supposedly reliable leakers/scoopers had out of date information, or plans changed – but it would be SO satisfying for her to show up as one of Fury’s trusted ex-SHIELD agents. Multiverse etc” But is this the right time for MCU to tap into the multiverse again?

While some fans have given up hope, others have simply expressed their disappointment with the episode. One viewer tweeted, “#SecretInvasion / Spoilers ------So they didn’t give us daisy AND they took away Giah ?????” As expressed in the following tweet, fans want to re-write the episode altogether, “#SecretInvasion spoilers me going back in time to change the script so that the Skrulls nuke UN-1 to draw out superheroes so that daisy johnson can be in the show.” Looks like everyone is getting tired of unvetted rumors as they wait for Daisy to appear in ‘Secret Invasion', as one fan wrote, “Whoever said Daisy is in episode 3… I just wanna talk 🙃 #SecretInvasion.” Some continue to hold out hope that Daisy could appear in ‘Secret Invasion’ Episode 4.
