GORDON, GEORGIA: WeTv's 'Mama June: Family Crisis' returns with roller coaster ride of emotions. Mama June Shannon and her daughters Lauryn 'Pumpkin' Efrid, Alana 'Honey Boo Boo' Thompson, and Jessica Shannon meet Dr Ish as they seek therapy to bring their relationship back on the track.
However, in the latest episode, Dr Ish told June he would help her try to break the habits she learned from her mother. June later visited Pumpkin's rental house so that she and her daughters could focus on fixing their relationships with each other without anyone else getting involved.
Mama June takes therapy with her daughters
June and her daughters had an emotional therapy session. The emotional session resulted in June giving Honey Boo Boo a hug for the first time in 'about five or six years.' June and her daughters, Jessica, Pumpkin and Honey Boo Boo gathered in the kitchen undergoing an intense and extremely emotional therapy session. June finally came face to face with three of her daughters during the latest episode of 'Mama June: Family Crisis', when Dr Ish brought them all together for an intense weekend of therapy. After the girls arrived, everyone shared hopes of rebuilding their relationships with their mom. Obviously, June has wanted that too, but this is the first time in a while that viewers saw Pumpkin, Honey Boo Boo and Jessica shed tears over the situation and share how they really feel about the absence of June in their lives.
'There she goes again'
June brought some gifts to her daughters to fix her relationship. 'Mama June: Family Crisis' viewers took to Twitter to slam June. A Twitter user wrote, "#MamaJune should know that it will take more than giving gifts to her family to win back their love!! She needs to take accountability for how she has hurt them over the years!" Another viewers tweeted, "It's Day 2 and Mama June has learned NOTHING from Dr. Ish explaining that giving gifts don't equal love. 🎁." Another user said, "There she goes again buyN gifts….buuuut yyyyy." Another follower commented, "Her and these stupid a** gifts."
