NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: Madonna is back in business! The pop icon is healthy and is already rehearsing for her most anticipated ‘Celebration Tour.’ As per a source, "She returned to rehearsals last Monday. She's so happy to be back onstage and is feeling strong.”

Why was Madonna hospitalized in June?
Madonna suffered from a ‘serious bacterial infection’ in late June and was hospitalized for a few days. The ‘Material Girl’ was in ICU, updated his talent manager and producer Guy Oseary in an Instagram post.
“On Saturday, June 24, Madonna developed a serious bacterial infection which [led] to a several day stay in the ICU. Her health is improving, however she is still under medical care. A full recovery is expected,” he wrote.
Who all joined Madonna on her Lisbon vacation?
Last month, Madonna decided to spend some quality time with her loved ones and vacationed in Lisbon before returning to rehearsals.
"She enjoyed her birthday in Lisbon with all her kids and close friends. Now she's back in work mode and focused on the tour," the source added. "This is where she thrives. She loves being back in a creative environment."
Madonna shared a clip where she made a compilation video from her Lisbon visit with her children - Lourdes Leon, 26, Rocco Ritchie, 23, David Banda, 17, Mercy James, 16, and twins Stella and Estere, 11, also featuring as the music ‘Vogue’ plays in the background.

She announced the ‘Celebration Tour’ for the first time in January, and which is to commemorate her 40 years in the music industry. Madonna also aims to pay tribute to New York where she found her stardom, as per People.
"I am excited to explore as many songs as possible in hopes to give my fans the show they have been waiting for," she said in a press release then.
In 2021, Madonna talked about her painful surgery.
"Let me be really honest with you—I used to be, like, a fitness/workout maniac. You probably know that right?... During my [2019 Madame X] tour—I don't know if you've noticed it, but I'm limping a lot—I was in more pain than I've ever been in in my life. I'm a bionic woman—I had hip replacement surgery," she said.
