LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ludwig "Ludwig" Ahgren, a popular YouTuber, is getting ready for the latest season of his gaming show, 'World's Greatest Gamer'. The event will air from September 2, 2023, till September 3.
The event, which will include some of the greatest celebrities in the community, has been organized by the streamer in collaboration with the video-sharing platform YouTube.
Who are participating in 'World's Greatest Gamers'
Ludwig is skilled at producing original, competitive YouTube events that garner millions of internet viewers. His most recent project, which includes well-known individuals, appears to be going in the same direction.
The streamer has revealed the list of 20 content creators, streamers, and current and former esports pros who will take part in the World's Greatest Gamer event in conjunction with YouTube Gaming.
The names are Brandon "Aceu" (Apex Legends streamer), Albert "BoxBox" (League of Legends streamer), James "Clayster" (Call of Duty player), Connor "ConnorEatsPants (Variety streamer), Eric "Erobb221" (Variety/League of Legends streamer), Jaiden "Jaiden Animations" (YouTuber), Jesse "JerAx" (Dota 2 player) and Kathleen "Loserfruit" (Fortnite streamer).
Other prominent names are Joseph "Mang0" (Super Smash Bros player), Ali "Myth" (Streamer and former Fortnite pro), Qiyu "akaNemsko" (Chess player), Dillon "Rizzo" (American Rocket League streamer), Danny "Shiphtur" (Overwatch League player), Tanner "Smallant" (Speedrunner), Dominique "SonixFox" (Combat esports), Matthew "Supertf" (Former Overwatch gamer), Tyson "Tenz" (Valorant streamer), Saahil "Universe" (Dota 2 player), James "VoiD" (Super Smash Bros player) and Zachary "Zekken" (Valorant player)
When and where to watch 'World's Greatest Gamers'?
The competition will be streamed live from Los Angeles on Ludwig's YouTube channel beginning at 12:00PM PT on September 2-3. The 20 players will compete against one another in two-hour gaming sessions that will include 11 distinct games. In essence, players will have to show off their skills in games that are outside of their comfort zone.
Several of the most popular video game franchises, including Fortnite, Fall Guys, and Minecraft, will be featured during the event.
The games to be featured are Street Fighter 6, Minecraft, Fall Guys, 2K Drive, XDefiant, Tetris, Trackmania, Genshin Impact,LEGO 2K Drive, Fortnite and Rocket League.
