CLEVELAND, OHIO: Logan Paul claimed Dillon Danis is evading their upcoming fight and may contract Covid to avoid it, as his social media attacks against Paul and his fiancee Nina Agdal intensified in the build-up to the fight.
Paul is concerned that Danis might be willing to pay the rumored $100,000 fine, just to avoid the event, considering Danis' previous track record of missing fights for various reasons.
In case he decides to skip the event, they have already arranged bare-knuckle boxing champion Mike Perry as the alternate opponent.
Dillon Danis may 'give himself Covid'
The time for talking is almost over because on Saturday, October 14, in Manchester, we'll see KSI and Tommy Fury put an end to their feud in the ring. At the same event, Logan Paul will also engage in combat in front of what is anticipated to be a sold-out audience.
During an episode of 'Impaulsive', Paul shared his 'Covid' prediction with co-hosts Mike Majlak and Maclin Bilsky, along with his brother Jake, and the audience.
Paul said, “I predict that he’s going to somehow intentionally give himself Covid to back out from the fight."
He went on to say, "Instead of faking an injury or actually getting injured, I think he’s going to find someone with Covid, lick their feet or something and use it to get positive Covid test, then back out of the fight."
The influencer-turned-boxer further added, “It would be confirmed by like 10 doctors... he would actually have to get Covid. At first we thought he might intentionally injure himself, like break a finger or something."
"The other part of this is him pulling out in anyway that isn’t verified by a doctor of our choosing; he would have to pay $100,000 to us,” he claimed.
Will Logan Paul and Dillon Danis have to submit Covid-19 reports?
It is unknown what types of tests Paul and Danis will be required to submit for Covid and how frequently they must submit negative results.
Paul believes that a recent video showing Danis repeatedly striking his head in the sauna is an effort to have the match abruptly called off, according to Mirror.
A recent social media video showed Danis in the sauna following a workout, appearing to bang his head against the wooden wall in what is said to be a "head conditioning" practice.
Paul, however, believes that it is a deliberate attempt on his part to induce concussion or other brain injury in order to have a doctor declare him ineligible for the fight.
Paul even posted a video of himself mocking the procedure in which he enters a sauna and bangs his head against the wooden walls to demonstrate how absurd the exercise is.
In a social media video showcasing Danis' bizarre training regimen, he claimed, "Dillon is already trying to hurt himself so he doesn't have to fight me."
Then he uploaded video of himself attempting it to show that Danis' claim was false.
