LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: On July 3, Kourtney Kardashian shared a series of amusing images from her reunion with Addison Rae. Fans were taken aback at first because their long-standing relationship seemed to have vanished from their memories.
Previously, the oldest Kardashian-Jenner sister became good friends with Addison after meeting Kourtney's son, Mason Disick, in 2020. Because Kourtney's eldest kid, whom she has with her ex-boyfriend, Scott Disick, was very interested in TikTok at the time and a fan of Addison, they decided to collaborate on a video. Kourtney and Addison have remained close friends despite their age difference, which was raised in previous episodes of the family's successful Hulu series. For the bulk of 2020 and 2021, the gal buddies were close, to the point that Kourtney had a cameo in Addison's film debut, 'He's All That,' and they even modeled for Kim Kardashian's clothing label SKIMS together. However, since Kourtney began her affair with the Blink-182 drummer and has been preoccupied with her family, the two have been sighted together less in the last two years. Kourtney and Addison were last seen together in public in a photo released on Poosh's official social media page in March.
Kourtney and Addison reunited after 2 years
The Poosh entrepreneur, who is expecting her first child with her husband, Travis Barker, simply captioned her image with an abundance of pink emojis. In one shot, the entrepreneur placed her hands in her raven black, chin-length bob and pouted sultrily at the camera.
At her side, the 'He's All That' actress pretended to be shocked as she gently stroked the expectant mother's baby bump. Kourtney switched to the side in a similar shot to show off a better view of her developing bump and curvaceous shape. Addison stood forward with her hands on her hips and a comfortable grin on her face.
Another photograph on the carousel featured Kourtney and Addison from a different viewpoint, this time beneath the opulent pool shade, in front of a flat-screen television and bar.
Once more, the reality star turned to her side and hugged her baby's belly with both hands. She tossed her hair back, her lips slightly ajar, as is usual for a model. In the same shot, Addison leaned in towards the camera, scrunching up her face and pointing with her finger to her lips. The social media celebrity was wearing an enormous white scrunchie made of doily lace on her wrist, which was more evident in the snap.
Later, the dynamic couple looked to have walked to the pool for a single photo, with Kourtney reclining to the side and relaxing atop towels on a daybed. Unlike the previous photos in the series, she wore a Prada denim wide-brimmed hat and rectangular sunglasses to protect her face from the sun. For their leisurely day by the pool, both of the socialites wore their hair down. Kourtney and Addison looked to be wearing no makeup to show off their glowing complexions after a day of sunbathing.
'This is the most weirdest friendship'
Surprised fans were quick to react to Kourtney's post asking, "wait theyre still friends." While another questioned, "Why is a 44 year old friends with a 21 year old??? This is just weird to me." Another person wondered, "oh they still talk?" A fourth user commented, "istg this is the most weirdest friendship."
One user further commented, "i didn’t even know y’all were still friends." Another noted, "Kourtney really doesn’t have any friends 😭😢." One person observed, "Wait, Kourtney posts her long lost friend days after Kim says she has no friends 😂." "50 years old 👵🏼 pregerrrs 🤰🏻 and hanging out with 20 ur olds…. Okaaaay 🙄," sighed another.
