LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Lizzo is reportedly embroiled in a huge controversy as three of her former backup dancers accused her of sexual harassment and fat-shaming. A lawsuit has been filed against her by Arianna Davis, Crystal Williams and Noelle Rodriguez, in which they alleged that the singer, who is known for being a staunch supporter of body positivity, was also responsible for creating a "hostile work environment."
Though fans of the ‘2 Be Loved’ singer are shocked after the allegations surfaced, there were many who did not seem surprised. One of the singer's fans attacked the accusers and shared, “These women sound like somebody paid them off to try to destroy Lizzo's reputation, and these women of age they could say no I hate Levin he always trying to get ratings than when the other side has to prove he didn't want to report it. I stick with Lizzo.”
‘I always knew Lizzo gave off roast beef energy’
Many others took to social media to express their opinion too. Another asked, “Do we have any receipts to go with these allegations?” A third one said, “‘We had in our minds’ ‘looming feeling’ it sounds like a lot of assumption and also if you're not going to enjoy the trips or participate in the itinerary then you cant come. I need to hear from Lizzo’s team.” “I don’t believe these woman Lizzio is who made them they are haters,” the fourth one added.
However, another person tweeted, “This is not surprising... Most of these folks are fake, actors, and liars.” Another wrote, “Damn Lizzo, I’m starting to realize that any celebrity that preaches something positive and it’s their ‘personality’ it’s probably not true.” “Lizzo body-shamed and harassed her dancers, fired them when they complained, and then proceeded to brag about it in a song. I always knew Lizzo gave off roast beef energy, but people wouldn't believe me. Now you see #Lizzo #LizzoIsOverParty #LizzoLawsuit,” a user asserted.
What did Kanye West say about Lizzo?
Amid the chaos, an old video of Kanye West has gone viral in which he was seen talking about her weight and calling her out for selling obesity in the name of body positivity. He reportedly told Tucker Carlson in 2022, “When Lizzo loses 10 pounds and announces it, the bots… on Instagram, they attack her losing weight because the media wants to put out a perception that being overweight is the new goal when it’s actually unhealthy.”
Many people have commented on the video while supporting West and blasting Lizzo. A person tweeted, “Kanye was right about Lizzo all along.” Another person shared, “He’s back.” The third one stated, “Kanye is always right in the end, just takes time for a lot to catch on.”
“He’s been right abt everything y’all just don’t listen or are scared to agree,” a fourth said. “Kanye was always ahead of time, but the media wanted us to believe he was “CRAZY’,” a fifth added.
