AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan and comedian Brian Simpson discussed the challenges of anorexia in a recent episode of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', while discussing martial arts and its various moves. The host mentioned the most lethal MMA move when the conversation abruptly came to an end.
Things can change in Rogan's podcast with the speed of a whirlwind. The conversation among visitors may switch from the Moon landing to how eating elk meat improves blood circulation in a split second. Similar incidents occurred when the podcaster mentioned several kicks that may completely destroy the body.
Joe Rogan discussed dangers of fatal kicks in MMA
Simpson and Joe Rogan were discussing how anorexics have incredibly frail bodies. At this point, the subject of fatal kicks came up in the conversation. Rogan revealed how a turning sidekick can be sufficient to rip an ordinary person's internal organs.
Rogan said, “You could kill a regular person,” as soon as Simpson stopped laughing. “You use a spinning back kick. That’s the most powerful kick. A turning sidekick, it’s called, it’s my specialty.”
Rogan logically agreed with Simpson's claim that most individuals can't exactly "pull that off". He argued that they are uncommon in MMA since they can be difficult to land on professional fighters.
Contrarily, calf kicks are an entirely different matter. The host chose Alex Pereira as his preferred kicker. Rogan recalled 'Izzy' facing 'Poatan' in relation to the action.
Rogan questioned his visitor, “You know what the most painful sh*t is? The calf kicks. And I’m saying this anecdotally... just getting massaged in your calves f**king hurts like hell. These guys are kicking each other in the calf and it deadens your calf where you can’t walk right..."
"Like Poatan, Alex Pereira. He’s the best I’ve ever seen it that. He’s the best at it. He’s so sneaky and Izzy, he got Izzy in the first fight and he was getting Izzy in the second fight with it.”
Joe Rogan talked Poatan vs Izzy
The host recalled the classic "Poatan vs Izzy" fight, in which "Poatan" stole the championship from "The Last Stylebender." Naturally, he wasn't the only one to suffer the consequences of the calf kicks.
Everyone is aware of how Conor McGregor's leg has changed significantly. It happened in front of millions of people live. At UFC 264, Conor McGregor's ankle broke during his bout with Dustin Poirier.
The Irishman's leg was completely destroyed by Poirier's calf kicks during one of their previous fights.
