AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan, a well-known UFC commentator and podcaster, recently invited bare-knuckle boxer Mike Perry on his podcast, 'The Joe Rogan Experience: MMA Show'. Many combat sports fans have had the opportunity to hear their favorite fighters explain their lives in Rogan's 'MMA Show', a series on his well-known JRE podcast.
'The Joe Rogan Experience' has been gaining popularity since 2009 and has received a lot of attention and critical acclaim, with some saying the language used on the show is sometimes insensitive. It is one of the most popular podcasts in the world.
'Finally a pure African on the JRE'
Mike Perry shared a post on his Instagram page after appearing on Rogan's show. He captioned the post writing, "What an honor to sit down and chop it up with the absolute legend @joerogan, It really has been an experience! Let’s keep learning and earning, Kanpai to being kings !"
Following the announcement of the appearance of the popular boxer Perry on the show, fans reacted with some hilarious comments in the comments section. A fan mocked Perry's N-word controversy by saying, "Finally a pure African on the JRE." One person remarked on Mike Perry's duality, saying that he went from lighting Twitter on fire with a video of him sniffing a pair of women's undergarments to being on Rogan's podcast the next day. He wrote, "One day munching on undies next day joe rogan podcast."
A third user joked in the comments, saying "Joe's diversity scores were dropping, glad to see he's branching out into the community again," and a fourth commented along similar lines, saying, "Love to see a black man make it to the top." Another user also called Mike "the blackest fighter to ever step in the experience." Many others, however, expressed their excitement for the episode.
