AUSTIN, TEXAS: Joe Rogan, on Episode 2006 of 'The Joe Rogan Experience', spoke 45-year-old Bryan Johnson, who spent $2M every year, to look young. Rogan was quite critical of Johnson’s practices.
Rogan, a stand-up comedian and UFC commentator, was among the first to leverage the craze around podcasts.
'The Joe Rogan Experience' includes more than 2,000 episodes and is one of the most well-known podcasts on the internet.
Joe Rogan does not approve of spending so much to look young
Brian Simpson, a guest on Rogan's show, spoke about Johnson, the brains behind Braintree Payment Solutions. For $800M, the billionaire sold the payment firm to eBay.
The businessman has now prioritized his physical health and fitness. Johnson wants to look and act like an 18-year-old in order to delay ageing and he has gone to great lengths to achieve his objective.
Johnshon was the first person to execute an intergenerational blood transfusion, Simpson said on the episode. He exchanged blood plasma with his father, his child and other people.
However, in response, Rogan called the billionaire "weird."
Johnson's decision to become a vegan was described as "interesting" by Rogan since "there's a lot of you know nutritional pitfalls in that."
Simpson said Johnson took 60 supplement tablets daily to avoid such dietary issues but Rogan was not convinced. He said, “For a lot of people on vegan diets, it’s hard to put mass on.”
Bryan Johnson’s routine
Jesse James West, a professional bodybuilder and fitness guru, spent a whole day with Johnson. West experimented with the anti-aging procedure. Johnson kept up with West, who is 23 and half his age, during their workout.
The 23-year-old consumed the odd 45-year-old's diet as well. Johnson had 60 supplement tablets, none of which he tried, but he did try everything else. West had the chance to experience Johnson's daily physical as well.
Johnson searches every avenue in his fight against ageing, including red light treatment, ultrasonography, and even eye health. Jesse James West claimed that Johnson taught him a lot.
