CLEVELAND, OHIO: Shadasia Green, the super middleweight champion, has been recently added to the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz card. Before his rematch with Tommy Fury this year, "The Problem Child" reportedly signed "The Sweet Terminator." Even though Paul has only made a few acquisitions in this year, they have all been hits. Apart from Green, the other signings of Most Valuable Promotions include Ashton "H2O" Sylve and Amanda Serrano.
As per reports, Green has been included in Paul's comeback against Nate Diaz, which is about to take place on August 5. The women's super middleweight champion is to face Olivia Curry, who has a 7-1 record, making the event even more exciting for viewers, and the duo is lined up for a 10-round matchup.
Details of Shadasia Green
It absolutely makes sense that Paul recognized the potential in Green and signed her under Most Valuable Promotions, founded by the former YouTuber and his advisor Nakisa Bidarian. The 33-year-old has a 12-0 professional record and just defeated Elin Cederros in a convincing knockout in February. Moreover, she beat the previous champion to win the WBC gold, which was the biggest victory of her career to date. And she has been in professional boxing only since January 2019, making her undefeated record impressive. Green is one of the more powerful punchers in women's boxing, having won 11 knockouts in her last 12 fights. Only time will tell if the New Jersey native is able to maintain her record when she returns to the ring in August in an effort to secure yet another huge victory.
Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz card
Green's inclusion makes the Jake Paul vs Nate Diaz event even more entertaining for the followers of professional boxing. The two celebrities are about to serve as the headliners of a DAZN pay-per-view (PPV) event at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. Furthermore, Paul will be competing for the first time since his shocking defeat to Fury in February, making the fight a pivotal point of his boxing career. On the other hand, Diaz, who is experienced in combat sports, will be taking on his first boxing battle in the August event.
With only four weeks until the event, the undercard is already being assembled. The rematch between Amanda Serrano and Heather Hardy is scheduled as the co-main event. "The Real Deal," who won their opening match of 2019 by a unanimous vote, will now try to make it 2-0 in the series. On this card, there is a little something for everyone as an entertaining eight-round fight between UFC veterans Jeremy Stephens and Chris Avila has also been scheduled. Notably, Avila has established himself as a mainstay on Paul's undercards after defeating Dr Mike in October 2022. On the other hand, Stephens made his boxing debut against Jose Aldo and battled to a draw in April. Even though the card's details are still being finalized, it appears to be one of the finest professional boxing events that viewers will be waiting for in 2023.
