LONDON, ENGLAND: IShowSpeed, a well-known online personality, and streamer, recently defeated YouTuber KSI in a 100-meter race and humorously executed the Siuuu celebration. For more than two years, IShowSpeed has been among the most well-liked streamers.
Recently, the hyperactive 18-year-old, who is well-known for his hilarious viral videos and fanboying over Cristiano Ronaldo, grabbed headlines again. Speed came forward with British YouTuber KSI and accepted a 100-meter race challenge from him.
IShowspeed and KSI competed in a live race
The race between IShowspeed and KSI was broadcast live on the former's YouTube channel. Just seconds into the race, Speed was able to destroy KSI and take a commanding lead.
Although it was a close race, Speed beat KSI and was the first to cross the finish line. He ran to the finish and jumped into the air, shouting "siiiiu," before turning around and posing with his arms out.
KSI, also a supporter of Ronaldo, graciously accepted defeat and lauded Speed for triumphing.
Speed yelled as soon as he realized he was going to win, "I'm speed on my mama, I'm speed, I'm speed, I'm speed, I'm speed."
After performing Cristiano Ronaldo's famous "Siu" celebration after winning the 100-meter race, Speed said, "What did I say? What did I tell him? What did I tell him?"
An 'X' user shared the race video writing, "Speed just smoked KSI in a race."
The race allegedly took place on September 7 in London, where the two online celebrities were reportedly getting ready for the upcoming Sidemen Charity Football match. The match will take place on September 9, 2023 (Saturday).
The contest participants include MrBeast, xQc, and JME. All proceeds will go to Rays of Sunshine, the Teenage Cancer Trust, and the Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM).
Fans reacted to KSI's defeat
As soon the Internet users came across the IShowSpeed and KSI's racing video, they could not accept KSI's defeat and started speculating that KSI was tired. A fan wrote, "I think KSI just got tired."
Another user added the similar statedment saying, "It actually seems Ksi was tired, that would be weird based on his training for October."
On the other hand, IShowSpeed's fans praised his performance. One commentated, "They don't call him speed for no reason."
A second fan gave Speed's victory credit to Cristiano Ronaldo's jersey, "It’s because he’s wearing a Ronaldo jersey."
