LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: TikTok star Zac Galloway has sparked concerns after his fans noticed his ‘jaundiced’ look in his latest videos from the channel.
Galloway rose to fame after starting his channel on the video-sharing site where he narrated his experiences from prison.
Is Zac Galloway OK?
According to fans, Zac Galloway looks “jaundiced” in the latest video in his new TikTok channel, which he opened after losing his previous original channel.
One Reddit user posted a thread saying, “I've been concerned about @zacgallowayofficial for a while. He used to look so good & was healthy, then there were some health issues, & he's been looking so rough now for a long time.”
The social media user continued, “He's on live every single day asking for $ for meds/groceries. It doesn't quite make sense.”
His fans are concerned about his health as many of them think Galloway has relapsed. They are concerned about him asking for money from his fans in the videos.
Why is Zac Galloway famous?
Zac Galloway shot to fame with TikTok videos narrating stories from his time in prison. He was also a prison reform advocate with a following of over 1 million, per his collaborator Kody Green.
While he was mostly known for his gripping storytelling and compelling approach to the subject, Galloway lost the rights to most of his story-telling videos when he sold the original channel.
Galloway had a podcast named ‘Criminally Mental Podcast’, which he co-hosted with his friend and collaborator Kody Green. The series has 30 episodes and initially came out at 7 pm CST every Thursday.
Its Apple Podcasts description states, “Two mentally ill reformed convicts talk about criminal justice, the prison system, and mental health.”
“Kody Green and Zac Galloway share their personal experiences of incarceration, psychiatric facilities, mental illness, life after jail/prison, and MUCH more,” the description continues.
Who is Zac Galloway's partner?
Nothing much is known about the partner of the Phoniex, Arizona-born TikTok star. According to some of his fans, who posted on Reddit, things went awry after Galloway moved in with his partner.
In one such Reddit thread, a fan posted, “He used to post prison stories and then he moved to be with his partner and things got real weird after that.”
What happened to Zac Galloway?
In a March 2022 video, Kody Green addressed the pertinent question ‘What happened to Zac Galloway?’ Green was heard saying that Galloway was not only mourning the death of his mother but also the loss of his TikTok account from where he was “removed.”
His removal from the TikTok channel also led to his removal from TikTok Creator’s Fund. Green opined that after this, Galloway “started dealing a lot more with stress” and anxiety, as it was his only source of income.
The stressful situation ultimately caused him serious health issues including some “severe seizures which led to him being hospitalized for several weeks,” and “losing most of his motor functions and ability to speak.”
Green later continued to talk about the stereotype attached to a reformed drug addict saying while former addicts may relapse, it is insulting to call someone who is dealing with mental and physical stress as relapsing.
Green informed that Galloway was recuperating and they were bringing back the podcast, which they did. They revived the podcast which was previously paused because of Galloway’s illness.
The renewed podcast ran for a few more episodes until the last episode aired on May 13, 2022. The podcast’s Facebook page also mentions it as ‘Permanently closed’.
Fans allege Zac Galloway has relapsed
One fan said, "People don't want to believe that he relapsed, but I truly believe he did. I think he's been up and down since then. Also, this mess about getting a needle shard stuck in his arm from using T... any one who believes that is a fool."
Someone else commented, "Jaundice looks like whatever he’s doing, his liver doesn’t agree with. Doubt he’s spending the money on food/meds lol. “Meds” maybe but I doubt they’re prescribed to him. He’s only 36 years old. How sad. Don’t do drugs kids."
A third echoed, "He looks jaundice in the first picture, and his non existent pupils in the first pic are screaming opiates ? and is there a reason a grown ass man doesn’t have insurance to cover his meds? I have a hard time believing he needs “meds” every single day and pays out of pocket. everything about this is saying active addiction ??♀️."
The fourth sparked concerns saying, "He looks jaundiced and possibly in organ failure?"
"“Healthy” looks like he’s using testosterone. I think there’s always substance involved with him," said another.
