LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: xQc is back making headlines due to the abuse allegations recently leveled against him by Adept. This time around the Kick streamer was quick to address accusations, and he firmly denied them on his live stream as well as through a post on X (formerly Twitter).
xQc even advised his followers to approach the claims with caution and encouraged his community to consider the underlying motives of the accusor.
During his Monday, August 14 stream, he expressed that the contentious remarks being made are far from humorous, asserting that the statements being circulated are possibly emotionally charged and not rooted in rationality.
Moreover, he strongly refuted any claims of him being physically abusive toward anyone, highlighting his experiences with personal trauma and challenges to provide his perspective surrounding the allegations.
Is xQc physically abusive?
In his Monday, August 14 stream, xQc took the opportunity to directly confront and dispel the circulating allegations of him being physically abusive.
Firmly asserting his stance, he said, "In all of my relations, whether it is with friends. Whether it's with girls, I have never been, a singular incident physically abusive, a singular time. It has never happened and there will be nothing about that ever anywhere! That has not happened, it is not funny! Okay?"
He continued by addressing the comments that had been made, characterizing them as "unhinged," indicating his belief that these statements were emotionally charged and not rooted in reason.
"I will say this as an absolute, blanket statement. Straight up! Listen, this is super important to me. Okay? So, I'll make sure that I'm being very clear with my words. I'm being very f**king clear so there's no misunderstanding. It's not funny! It's not funny at all! Okay? Some of the comments that people are saying is f**king unhinged and I will not stand for that," stated the Kick streamer.
Transitioning into a discussion about his past relationships, xQc emphatically stated that he has never exhibited abusive behavior toward anyone, expressing, "Dude, I have my own trauma with my own things, and I react to physical touch in a very specific way that makes it... that would never happen! And I find that some people are hinting at that, really f**ks me up! Because some people that know me privately - know these things."
Following a brief interruption, xQc, took the time to open up about his personal experiences, saying, "Yeah, I have my own problems. Like, when I get, like, touched physically and it feels like in a threatening way, it feels like the top of my head - my face gets hot or whatever and it feels like I have to run."
"And, since I was very athletic when I was young, I'd run away, and I'd just run out. And 'I'd jump and f**king run and roll, and do whatever I had to escape. I don't think it's very odd. I think it's called fight or flight, or something like that," shared the streamer.
Concluding, xQc expressed, "I've never done anything to somebody, ever! I've never done physically that hurts them. Harms them. Restrain. It has never happened. And when people did it to me, when I was in the situations, I'd just run."
"And, I have a lot of that. It happened too many times and I run away, and it's just how my body responds to it. It's how my brain processes intentionally harming physical touch. Okay?" added xQc, reiterating that there was no truth in the claims of physical abuse brought against him.
How did the Internet react to xQc's response to the alleged abuse?
It seems like the Internet was divided over how xQc handled the abuse allegations. Both his critics and supporters flocked to the comment section of his YouTube video to share their thoughts.
A user wrote, "Don't believe him anymore now that we know he's a convicted cheater," with another adding, "Physically Abusive did you see how he built"
"so the whale make all these fake allegations and nothing happens to her? crazy world we live in," stated one in support of xQc.
A skeptical person expressed, "Sure sure but im just saying cheaters have a GOOD habit of LYING and its true they really do be lying left and right. And I remember XQC talking about cheaters too and look where we are now lmao"
"i mean the guy would get snapped by even girls if he tried fighting/hitting them. So running makes sense," mocked one highlighting xQc's "fight or flight" remark.
xQc urges his community to 'remember the motives' behind the abuse allegations
Later, xQc took to X (formerly Twitter) to openly acknowledge the "mistakes" he had made and took a firm stance against the alleged "rumors" circulating about him, denying the validity of the claims.
xQc post read, "I took accountability for the wrongs I’ve done, unprompted, but the rumors flying around are all completely UNTRUE and NOTHING will validate them. I won’t let someone flail their arms around to cause damage out of desperation. Just remember the motives 👉💰."
Interestingly, xQc included two emojis, which were of a pointing hand and a money bag. The combination is probably to convey the idea that the "motives" behind the rumors being spread about him might actually stem from the agenda of financial gain.
xQc's followers react to his social media post
After xQc posted on X (formerly Twitter), his followers certainly didn't back away when it came to sharing their perspectives. A fan said, "But its your private life. It shouldn't be streamed and just talk it out with them instead," keeping his good in mind.
"You’re one of the most famous people in the world. You have to get used to the hate. It’s never going to stop unless you stop," wrote one, hinting at the various controversies surrounding him.
A follower stated, "Money ruins everything," possibly as a result of xQc hinting at the monetary motives, while one who didn't seem to care added, "What happened? Not that I care.... But what happened?"
"Adept more like A Debt," remarked a fan, who has possibly followed him throughout the streamer's never-ending controversy with his ex-partner, Adept.
