GREENVILLE, NORTH CAROLINA: Jimmy 'MrBeast,' a YouTube legend, took to Twitter to rant about the clickbait videos about his death. He cited the example of YouTuber Bolo, whose video was titled 'MrBeast's Disease Is Worse Than You Think' and whose thumbnail said he would die "in three years."
MrBeast poked fun at the YouTuber, saying that without this video, he wouldn't have known he was "dying in three years." Over the years, MrBeast has made a name for himself thanks to his informative YouTube videos and philanthropic challenges.
‘I wouldn’t have known I’m dying in three years’
MrBeast tweeted, “Thank god for this YouTube video or I wouldn’t have known I’m dying in three years.” The native of Kansas then appealed to the internet community to stop using photoshopped "fake tweets" as thumbnails. “Can we end the trend of photoshopping fake tweets of mine as thumbnails? Thx,” he said.
As soon as MrBeast tweeted about the fake video, fans were quick enough to express their opinions on Twitter. A fan said, “Going viral comes with a cost. Maybe this is part of the cost.” Whereas another one said, “MrBeast discovering the joys of being the top YouTuber after having a life goal of being the top YouTuber is my favorite character arc of this season.” “Yeah... None of this is a surprise. It's happened to every person at the top of their game previously in every industry whether on or offline. Not that it's right, but it's inevitable,” a fan tweeted. Another fan said, “That actually worried me, glad you’re okay Jimmy, thank you for all the good you do for this world.”
‘Jimmy has Crohn's disease’
YouTuber Bolo detailed MrBeast's condition in the video, calling it "extremely dangerous" for his life. He said, "Jimmy has Crohn's disease, which is a condition in which the gastrointestinal tract is inflamed over a long period of time. It is very painful to live with that disease because sometimes the pains are absolutely insane." Bolo continued to claim that the 25-year-old personality's Crohn's disease was the reason why he became a YouTuber.
“It was even worse for Jimmy since he was in high school at the moment and was playing baseball. In 2015, when Jimmy was diagnosed, he already had a YouTube channel, with less than 1,000 subscribers. So, he had to stay home because of Crohn's. And, apparently, this disease made him become a professional YouTuber since he had nothing to do at home but make Minecraft videos,” he added.
Bolo made a prediction about MrBeast's lifespan at the end of the film. He said, “According to sources, females with Crohn's disease may live from 6.6 to 8.1 years less than females without Crohn's disease. But males with Crohn's disease live from 5.0 to 6.1 years less than males without the condition, which is absolutely wild! Not only MrBeast has to be on a very strict diet his whole life, he will live six years less than he would live without Crohn's.”
