LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: ‘Good Morning America’ celebrated the union of its leading host Robin Roberts, and her partner Amber Laign by throwing an on-air bachelorette party.
An entire episode was dedicated to dancing, mocktails, candid conversations, and gifts where the 62-year-old host and her partner, Laign, were the center of attention.
A special segment ‘Deals and Steals’ was also organized to allow Robin and Laign to pick items from their favorite companies that were on display.
And it was during this segment that, ‘GMA’ correspondent Deborah Roberts entered riding a bicycle and surprised everyone.
Deborah had Lara Spencer and Tory Johnson who were hosting the special segment worried as she rode the bicycle wearing high heels which seemed extremely dangerous at the moment.
Is Deborah Roberts OK?
Deborah Roberts's antics on the bicycle certainly didn’t impress anyone in the studio.
The ‘GMA’ anchors Lara Spencer, and Robin Roberts, teamed up with shopping guru and ABC's e-commerce editor Tory Johnson, 52, for the ‘Deals & Steals’ portion of the show. Robin’s fiancee Amber Laign was next to her on the couch.
All the bargained items were picked from companies that both "Robin and Amber loved" since the segment was themed 'Summer Fun With Robin & Amber'.
However, Lara introduced an essential beach towel and Deborah entered on a bicycle carrying the item.
Robin and Tory were shocked to see Deborah riding a bike in high heels. "I said is 'Deborah actually gonna ride the bike,'" Tory stated before Robin added on, "In those heels?”
Tory continued and mentioned that she didn't think that Deborah was going to "ride the bike in those heels.” She further admitted that Deborah riding the bike in formal shoewear "proved that she could do anything."
Deborah remained on the stage for a few minutes and then rode off on her bicycle, prompting, Lara to say, "Be careful out there Deb.”
GMA’s Deborah Roberts pokes fun at husband Al Roker
In one of her recent Instagram stories, Deborah poked fun at her husband, Al Roker, when the two were out on their exercise routine.
She waved back at her husband, who seemed far behind. Deborah explained in the video, “As we do in so many things, we don't stay in locked steps. I'm going to take off. He's going to hang back and do his thing.”
Deborah smiled at the camera and said, "We're just going to meet up later."
She yelled, "See ya!" before sprinting off into the distance.
However, in his Instagram reel, Al crossed paths with his wife as he picked up the pace. The couple jokingly said at the same time, "Look at you! No, look at you!"
