What happened at Cardi B's concert?
On Saturday, July 29, an audience member tossed a drink at Cardi during a gig at the Vegas club. The rapper then threw her microphone into the crowd. The video shared by fans showed the singer appearing to be cheerful raps 'Bodak Yellow'. An audience member then tossed a drink on her face. She immediately responded by throwing the microphone and yelling in the direction of the individual who splashed water. The person was removed from the crowd by the security and the show resumed.
The microphone hit the individual who threw the drink but also ricocheted and struck another woman standing nearby. However, it remains unclear which of those individuals reported the incident to the police. A concertgoer who witnessed the incident said the 'Please Me' rapper had requested the audience to help in cooling her off with water due to the heat while she was performing but asked them to throw water on her legs and butt. The eyewitness told the media outlet that the singer was "performing at Drai’s Beachclub in Las Vegas on Saturday. "Then suddenly the girl in the video threw a drink in Cardi’s face. After the woman was escorted out, Cardi B continued the performance and told the crowd to throw the water on her a*s, not on her face," the witness added.
