LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Bravo has recently been in the hot waters for allegedly mistreating its reality stars. A report claims that around 80 cast members have come forward to speak against the "systemic rot" of the network, with a lawsuit in the works.
However, Andy Cohen's name has remained away from all the drama. He has not been mentioned even once in any of the cast members' accusations. This is making many wonder how Bravo's most famed host managed to keep his name out of legal entanglement when he was once caught up in a similar case.
'RHOA' star NeNe Leakes dismissed racism lawsuit against Andy Cohen ahead of Bravo lawsuit
In 2022, 'Real Housewives of Atlanta' star NeNe Leakes dismissed her lawsuit against Bravo and Andy Cohen. The reality star had filed a lawsuit in April, 2022, against racial slurs and "systemic racism."
Vulture reported the lawsuit as claiming, "NBC, Bravo and True foster a corporate and workplace culture in which racially-insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated — if not, encouraged."
NeNe also called out Andy "racist" on Twitter, saying, "They gone leave my name outta these shows. Send me your best discrimination attorneys info to booknene@gmail.com ITS WAR."
She later sued the streaming platform and 'Housewives' executive producer Andy for "fostering corporate and workplace culture in which racially insensitive and inappropriate behavior is tolerated, if not, encouraged."
However, the case has been concluded. The court document read, "Leakes hereby dismisses this action and all claims asserted by Leakes without prejudice, thereby concluding this case before this Court at this time."
No parties were given consent to seek recovery of costs or attorneys' fees.
Is Bravo protecting Andy Cohen?
Now that Bravo and NBC's name has come up for allegedly victimizing reality stars, the one person who remained away from the drama is Andy. Despite NeNe dropping the lawsuit against Andy and Bravo, she did not bring back the matter again into the limelight when Bethenny Frankel slammed the network with disturbing accusations.
Andy is the big name in 'The Real Housewives' franchise. He is the host and executive producer of a late-night talk show. Therefore, it's impossible for such a renowned member of Bravo to not be linked with any dirt.
This has led fans to wonder whether Bravo is protecting Andy. Does the NDA include not saying anything against Andy? There has been speculation about how Andy is keeping his hands clean amid the lawsuit drama but nothing has been confirmed with surety.

He later became vice president of original programming at Bravo in 2004 when the network purchased Trio.
