AUSTIN, TEXAS: Several social media users called out Joe Rogan after he slammed trans influencer Dylan Mulvaney for her recent comments on the Bud Light controversy involving her campaign. Rogan spoke to rapper and actor Ice Cube about the Bud Light boycott issue during the latter’s appearance at ‘The Joe Rogan Experience’ and called Mulvaney “mentally ill” and an “attention w****” in the process.
“Take a brand like Bud Light. It's for blue-collar drinking people and they like to watch football and drink Bud Light and then all of a sudden you have this mentally ill person who's just an attention w****,” Rogan said. The remarks came after Mulvaney broke her silence over the Bud Light controversy last week and said the brand did not stand up for her while she faced “more bullying and transphobia than I could have ever imagined” following their partnership.
‘Imagine being this triggered over a beer can’
In the wake of Rogan’s comments on Mulvaney, some netizens took to Twitter to call out the commentator. “Imagine being this triggered over a beer can,” one wrote. “A solo can that none of you can buy. Imagine whining about that,” added another. “Who cares what Rogan has to say. He’s just for entertainment,” one said. “Who is he to judge anybody judgment is mine saith the Lord he might want to remember that,” a fourth commented.
One tweeted, “Joe Rogan needs people like Dylan Mulvaney so he can keep people angry and pay the bills with his grift. Weak,” Another mocked, “who knew hosting a show that made people eat bugs would make him in expert in so many medical fields.” One simply asked, “Joe who?” while another added, “I don’t care a thing about listening to Joe.”
‘Joe feels threatened by Dylan and it shows’
Many social media users also took to Facebook to react to Rogan's remarks on Mulvaney. “Joe feels threatened by Dylan and it shows,” one said. “Who is this Rogan guy? He's a clown," another added. “IDK how anyone can pick on Dylan and call themselves a man. It's like bullying a child. I remember when Rogan was generally fun and kind instead of angry and political all the time,” a third commented.
One said, “Poor Joe. No meaningful work since Fear Factor,” while another stated, “I bet she earns more than him and everyone sharing negative thoughts. Keep shinning beautiful woman.” “Why is he so obsessed with trans people?” asked one commenter. One user wrote, “Joe Rogan is addled from all the drugs and psychedelics he does on his show,” and another Facebook comment chimed in with, “Rogan is just drug addled moron who has done too many steroids and has a loud mouth and a bunch of fanboys who eat up his crap.”
