WEST ORANGE, NEW JERSEY: 'The Real Housewives of New Jersey' fans will have to wait for a long time for a new season. In the meantime, Melissa Gorga and Joe Gorga made sure to share a glimpse into their lives with their followers. Melissa and Joe recently donned Barbie and Ken outfits in their new Instagram post.
Ahead of the release of Warner Bros' new movie 'Barbie' starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling, Melissa was seen in a Barbie costume. Meanwhile, her husband Joe, 43, was dressed up as Ken. However, Melissa and Joe's 'Barbie' outfits were trolled by users on social media.

Melissa took to her social media and shared two photos of her and Joe. The first photo in the slide showed the reality star flaunting her fit figure in a Barbie costume. Melissa's dress consisted of a pink push-up bra, a bright blue bodysuit, a pink belt, a pair of ballerina tights, a pair of light pink leg warmers, and a pair of strapped nude high heels. The Bravo show star completed her look with a pair of light pink wristbands on each of her wrists, a few rings, and a light pink headband. She wore her long dark hair down and had it slightly styled as she appeared to pose like a plastic doll.
Meanwhile, the second photo featured Melissa and Joe posing together in front of their cars. Melissa donned the same Barbie outfit that she wore in the first picture as she made another robot pose. However, Joe donned a light blue shirt that had the name 'Ken' in huge pink font across the center of the tee, a pair of light blue jeans, a pair of white sneakers, and a white baseball cap. The real estate developer looked to the side of camera as he stared at his stunning wife.
Both photos appeared to be taken in front of the couple's New Jersey house. Alongside the photos, Melissa wrote, "Italian Barbie & Ken 💖 Should've held this costume for this year huh? #barbiemovie #rhonj."
'You definitely missed the mark, honey'
Melissa and Joe enjoyed posing as Barbie and Ken but the social media users did not approve of the outfits and trolled the couple. A social media user commented, "But why the robot arms." One follower said, "Barbie is a doll, not a robot…." "He needs to stop wearing her skinny jeans lol," added another person.
Another Instagram user wrote, "Looks like you are going to one of 80’s aerobic class😂you missed the point here 🤦🏻♀️." Another critic penned, "Not a Barbie stop trying to be someone your not and Ken REALLY NOT!!!!!" Another user noted, "Worse looking ken and barbie ever."
