LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Web sleuths have sparked a furious debate after claiming that Kerry Washington allegedly cropped Meghan Markle out of a picture with Kelly Rowland at Beyonce’s concert.
The 42-year-old Duchess of Sussex was captured enjoying the final leg of the ‘Halo’ singer’s Renaissance World Tour at the SoFi Stadium in Los Angeles on Monday, September 4.
Meghan actress flashed a twinkling smile as she took in Beyonce’s birthday celebration show from a box seat.
At the concert, she was seen hanging out with the singer’s Destiny’s Child bandmate, Rowland, and Washington.
To glam up the night, Rowland wore a black corset-style top and accessorized her look with a silver chain choker necklace and face jewels, while Markle sported a metallic silver skirt with a high-necked black top.
Washington also rocked a silver and black shimmering top, and carried a sparkling silver purse.
During the celebration, the trio also posed for a picture, where they were seen flashing their sparkling smile while standing shoulder-to-shoulder, according to Daily Mail.
Kerry Washington 'crops' Meghan Markle out of picture with Kelly Rowland
On Tuesday, September 5, Washington took to her Instagram to share a compilation of dazzling pictures, clicked at Beyonce’s star-studded concert.
Washington’s post saw her posing with a number of celebrities including Tyler Perry, Cynthia Erivo and Alicia Keys. However, there was one particular picture that garnered immense social media attention.
In the picture, the actress was seen posing with Rowland in their box seat.
However, web sleuths claimed to have noticed Markle’s arm in the image, stating that she was in the frame but Washington intentionally cropped her out.
“The elbow gives me talking down to the assistant taking mourner flowers from her vibes. 'Um, I'm just going to take a picture with them, OKAY?!'" one user said.
“I watched the video... Found it very awkward. The standing alone, playing with her hair.... A clear sign of embarrassment,” a second user asserted.
“I see thirsty Meghan in the background just waiting for her turn with the "Hollywood star" lulz, comedy!” a third user stated.
A fourth wrote, “She just shared the picture with her from magazines on her stories and stories disappear in 24h. She clearly didn't want a pic with someone she doesn't know on her feed."
Meghan Markle called Kerry Washington her ‘ultimate talent crush’
In an interview in 2016, Meghan sang praises for Washington after she garnered applause for her performance as Olivia Pope in the ABC drama series ‘Scandal’.
Washington was nominated for a Golden Globe and two Emmys for her performance in the show.
During the chat, Meghan was asked to reveal her "ultimate talent crush," to which she responded, "Kerry Washington. She's amazing."
Washington responded to Meghan's warm comments during a 2018 interview.
She said, "That’s amazing. She's so beautiful and so talented, and I’m so very happy for her. I’m thrilled for the opportunities that lay ahead for her."
She added, "I’m so happy for her because marriage rocks, so welcome to the club, girl!"
