LAS VEGAS, NEVADA: Kelly Clarkson, the 41-year-old Grammy winner, and 'American Idol' alum had a special surprise for her fans at her Chemistry show in Las Vegas on Friday night.
She brought her two children, nine-year-old River Rose, and seven-year-old Remington “Remy” Alexander, on stage to share some musical moments with her.

Clarkson shares River and Remy with her ex-husband Brandon Blackstock, whom she divorced in 2020 after nearly seven years of marriage.
She is also the stepmother to Blackstock’s two children from a previous marriage, Savannah, 18, and Seth, 14.
Before the show, Clarkson posted a cute photo of River and Remy hugging each other on Instagram.
She captioned it: “Both of my kiddos backstage getting ready to join me on stage in Vegas nothing will ever be as cool and amazing as these two little humans that will always have my whole heart.”
During the show, Clarkson introduced her son Remy to the audience and revealed that he had chosen a song for her to sing.
“My son is seven years old. He picked the coolest song for a dude to pick. I was like, ‘He was destined for greatness just for loving this song alone,'” she said in a fan-recorded TikTok video.

She then invited Remy to join her on stage and gave him a big hug. She asked him if he was ready to dance and told him not to be nervous.
"He was like, ‘There’s gonna be a lot of people,’ and I was like, ‘No, we have danced all the time at our house.’ We dance, we pull a disco ball out and we just dance,” she said, as People reported
Remy showed off his moves as Clarkson sang her 2017 hit 'Whole Lotta Woman'. He also answered his mom’s question about the song title with an adorable 'Whole Lotta Woman'.
The crowd cheered for the mother-son duo and chanted Remy’s name. Clarkson lifted him up and kissed him on the forehead before saying goodbye.

Later in the night, Clarkson performed a duet with her daughter River. She praised her for doing well in soundcheck and asked her if she was ready to sing 'Heartbeat Song', her 2015 track.
She also advised her not to say “hell” in the lyrics and replaced it with “heck”. River sang along with her mom and showed off her vocal skills. After the song ended, Clarkson hugged her and complimented her on her appearance and performance. She said: “Give it up for River Rose everybody!”

Clarkson told her she loved her and that she would see her later. Clarkson has previously said that both of her children are “little entertainers” who love to dance, sing, act, and create worlds.
She told E! News in June that she has a lot of videos of them on her phone. She also said that they are coping well with the divorce and that she always asks them if they are happy or what could make them happier.
