LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Britney Spears has found herself a new friend. The pop star has introduced a new puppy into her life, just a day after coming to a custody arrangement with her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, regarding their other dogs.
"Introducing Snow … the new edition to the family … it’s her world and we just live in it !!!" she captioned a video posted to Instagram on Wednesday, August 23.
What kind of dog does Britney Spears have?
In the video, the adorable fluffy white puppy, which seems to be a Maltese, was seen darting around Spears' legs before the pop icon scooped her up.
With affectionate words, Spears, 41, introduced the tiny pup to her audience, saying, "Let me show them how tiny you are. Say 'hi' Snow!"
The video then shows Snow roaming around on Spears' bed as the singer sits with her legs crossed. The puppy was seen playing with a blue pacifier instead of a regular dog toy.
Britney Spears and Sam Asghari reach custody agreement regarding dogs
This recent addition to Britney Spears' life comes after the singer and her estranged husband, Sam Asghari, reached an agreement about the custody of their five dogs during their divorce, according to TMZ.
Asghari, now owns the couple's Doberman, Porsha, which he got in 2021 for Britney's protection. On the other hand, Spears will have full custody of the other four dogs: an Australian Shepherd named Sawyer, a Yorkie named Hannah, two smaller dogs, and the new one, Snow.
The report states that the ex-couple is content with the arrangement regarding the split of the dogs.
Britney Spears was not willing to hand over custody of her dogs to her estranged husband at first, reported Daily Mail.
"Regarding [Britney and Sam’s shared] property, the most difficult part of dividing any assets will be their two dogs," the insider said. "But Sam gave Porsha to Britney as a present and she was the one who wanted to adopt Sawyer when they were in Maui."
