As per a close source, “Kevin got what he wanted — she is out of the family house. Christine is relieved about it. She is happy to move on. Christine hopes there will be less drama now.”
Another insider shared last month that Christine was moving to a ‘smaller house on the property’ and further said that she was determined to keep life ‘normal’ for the former couple who shares three children together, Grace, 13, Hayes, 14, and Cayden, 16.
How is Kevin Costner moving on?
“Christine is following the legal advice per the prenup and is vacating the family house," it added. The source further added that she "will stay at a smaller house on the property that’s been used as a staff quarter.”
The source explained it is a ‘a temporary solution’ for her as Christine “is still looking for another house.” The source said, “She is staying in the area to not disrupt the kids’ lives. They will be back at school in the fall with their friends. Christine is trying to keep everything as normal as possible. Her sole focus is the kids.”
How much Christine is getting in child support?
Christine was awarded $129,000 per month in child support from Costner on July 12, however, she previously demanded $248,000. As per TMZ, the designer wasn't sure what was in her prenup document meant, "Christine asserts she cannot admit or deny that she understood the Premarital Agreement because she (and apparently all of her attorneys) do not understand the word ‘understand.’"
“She is staying in the area to not disrupt the kids’ lives. They will be back at school in the fall with their friends. Despite the legal turbulence, Baumgartner has been seen carrying on with her daily life in Santa Barbara, recently spotted with a notable $4,800 ombré Prada bag, an insider told People.
Earlier, A judge ordered her to step out of the Montecito home by Monday, July 31. Baumgartner asked the court to allow her until August 31 before child support is done. Though, Costner requested for his estranged wife to leave by July 13. The court documents show Judge Thomas Anderele ruled on July 5 that Baumgartner would have to leave the home by the end of July.
