LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Ariana Grande has taken a drastic step to move on from her estranged husband Dalton Gomez by deleting their wedding photos and anniversary post from her Instagram account. This comes as the pair split and is reportedly headed for divorce following months back reconciliation efforts from her to save her marriage that didn't bear any fruit.
The 'Thank U, Next' singerwho married the real estate agent in a small ceremony at her Montecito, California home in May 2021 has seemingly erased all traces of their nuptials from her social media profile. Gomez, on the other hand, has been dating other people for months.
Has Ariana Grande deleted her wedding photos?
Grande also removed the post she shared on May 16, where she celebrated two years since they said “I do” and clarified that they had been together for “3.5 years!!!” as per Page Six. The only remaining sign of Gomez on Grammy winner Grande’s Instagram is a post from November 2022 where she included a cute selfie of them, among other photos.
Grande, 30, has been living in the UK since late 2022 where she is filming the movie adaptation of the musical 'Wicked.' According to sources who talked with the publication, Gomez flew to London in January to try to save their marriage, but it “didn’t work out.” A source said, “They have remained really good friends throughout the entire process."
Gomez has been dating other people for months
Grande was seen enjoying tennis at Wimbledon, but fans spotted that she was not wearing her unique pearl and diamond wedding ring triggering rumors of their split. Gomez, who has reportedly been dating other people for “months” after the couple decided to separate at the start of this year, allegedly had a hard time adjusting to the fame and attention that came with being married to Grande.
One report mentioned that her role as Glinda in 'Wicked' was the final nail in their eminent split as it has “taken over her life” and caused Gomez to feel like a second priority.
Grande and Gomez are determined to 'remain best friends'
A source earlier told OK! Magazine, “Ariana has been in Australia and England for almost a year, and she still has months left to go. Her marriage has definitely taken a back seat, and it’s been a huge strain,” the source said. “While Dalton is used to her career being a priority, his patience has worn thin. He just wants his partner back,” the insider added. Which now seems most unlikely as they are now heading for a divorce to end their marriage legally. Despite their marital woes, Grande and Gomez are determined to “remain best friends,” per another source.
