Candace Owens has joined the throng of critics of Adam22’s unorthodox marriage to Lena the Plug, branding their relationship one of “master and slave”. The right-wing commentator sat down for a three-hour discussion with Andrew Tate when they turned their attention to the now-notorious couple. For those who haven’t been following the saga, podcasters Adam22 (real name Adam Grandmaison) and Lena (real name Lena Nersesian) were thrust to viral stardom, after she filmed a sex scene with porn star Jason Luv. The X-rated encounter spawned a whole number of follow-up interviews, fall-outs, and conversations, including one with the king of toxic masculinity himself: Tate. During their discussion, Ross asked the former kickboxer for his thoughts on the Lena-Luv liaison and Adam’s part in the whole thing. “All I can say is that I wouldn't personally do that, that's not something I would allow my woman to do,” he replied. After a lengthy debate about it all, Adam “extended an invite” to Tate, saying that if he were “ever interested in doing his first ever double-penetration scene”, he and Lena might be up for it. However, he then checked this with his wife and asked: “Would he be a suitable candidate?”, to which Lena replied: “No.” Adin Ross Introduces Adam22 & Lena The Plug To ANDREW TATE www.youtube.com Owens seized on the bizarre live-streamed meeting during her interview with Tate, condemning Adam’s treatment of his other half as “horrific”. “Don't allow them to delude you to believing that this is femininity,” the presenter fumed. “It's not femininity, Lena, to have your husband offer your body to another man on camera. That's the poisoning. “They teach women that this is sexual freedom, that this is sexual liberation,” she continued. “I looked at that and I saw a slave relationship – I saw a master offering his slave to another person because he was just so, ‘I just love Andrew Tate, would you like to sleep with my wife? I would be OK with that’. “That is horrific. That is not femininity. That is not masculinity.” Nodding, Tate chimed in: “I absolutely agree with you on that point. You're totally right there, and I think that's probably one of the most misogynistic things that have happened on the internet in recent times.” He went on to say that he found Adam’s behaviour “pretty disgusting”, pointing out: “He didn't ask her, he offered her.” Bigging up his own response to the situation, he said: “I felt sorry for her so I was very measured in my conversation with them. “I could tell she was nervous, she was swinging on the chair back and forth. She didn't want to be there, she felt extremely nervous and I think that only a coward would berate a very nervous, very scared woman.” He then laughed: “I think she expected me to go at her hard, maybe I'm getting soft in my old age." However, let there be no misunderstanding here: Tate is no champion of women’s rights and values. During their ‘Adin Live’ meeting, the influencer – who is currently under house arrest after being charged with human trafficking and rape – explained why he “wouldn’t let his woman” sleep with another man. “The reason I wouldn't ever do it is because I believe that a man and a woman have a connection between them, and I think that connection is solidified by sexual exclusivity from the female’s part,” he said. That’s right, “from the female’s part”. Still, Adam doesn’t seem phased by Tate’s criticism nor by Owens’s fierce criticism. Indeed, he even shared her slavery allusion on X (formerly Twitter) via his ‘No Jumper’ podcast account. All we can say is, none of this inspires confidence in the future of respect and equality. Ciara has revealed that she and her husband, Russell Wilson, are expecting their third baby. The singer, 37, shared a black-and-white video to Instagram on 8 August to announce her pregnancy. In the footage, Ciara could be seen posing and dancing next to a pool, while showcasing her baby bump. The video is also set to her and Chris Brown’s new song, “How We Roll.” She went on to confirm that she’s expecting in the caption of the post, as she included some of the lyrics from her latest tune. “You look at me like that again, we make another kid…You my heart I’m your rib,” she wrote. In the comments of the post, many famous faces have gone on to celebrate the baby news, with singer Chloe Bailey writing: “YEEEESSSSS,” along with three heart eyes emojis. “OMGGG CONGRATULATIONS @ciara @dangerusswilson,” singer Normani added. “I am screaming for y’all.” “Congratulations Mama!!! Many fans also took to the comments to praise the video, with one writing: “Now that’s how you announce a pregnancy…Omg!!!!” Wilson also announced the news on his own Instagram, where he shared the video of his wife and noted that he’s the one who filmed it. In the caption, he quipped: “That’s just ‘How We Roll.’” The “Level Up” singer and her husband are already the parents of two: a six-year-old daughter, Sienna, and a three-year-old son, Win. Ciara also shares a nine-year-old son, Future, with her ex, Future. The pair’s announcement also comes a year after Wilson opened up about wanting to expand his family. While Ciara was guest hosting The Ellen DeGenres Show, she brought her husband onto the programme, during which he asked her: “Can we have more babies?... Just give me one more at least.” After the singer responded by bursting into laughter, she told her partner – who she’s been married to since 2016 – she agreed to have more children. “We definitely can,” she said. “We have a little time before we get there…But I’m down to do it again with you.” Back in 2020, the NFL star made a different joke about having another child. CNN's ratings appear to have taken a hit in the wake of its much-maligned town hall featuring former President Donald Trump. More than a week after the controversial television spectacle, the network weathered its lowest-rated week since June 2015, according to The Daily Beast. The network averaged approximately 429,000 total daily viewers between Monday and Friday of last week. The network's viewership was also down by double digits when compared to the same week last year. Those numbers remained consistent for its primary advertising demographic of 25-54 year-olds. CNN's cable news rivals had far better viewership during the same time period; MSNBC had more than double CNN's daily audience, with 976,000 total viewers, while Fox News went beyond that with 1.4m. The Independent has contacted CNN for comment. Despite those numbers, Fox News is weathering its own storms with the abrupt firing of Tucker Carlson. Its numbers are down 41 per cent in its key demographics year-to-year, and down 24 per cent in total viewership. Its weekday demographic audience immediately after Carlson's departure was the lowest it has been since the first week of September 2001. Both Fox and CNN are suffering in their primetime time slots. Several of their weeknight primetime offerings have been beaten in the ratings by Newsmax, a far-right media channel that has served as a landing spot for conservative viewers fleeing Fox News in the wake of Carlson's departure. Newsmax saw a similar boost immediately after the 2020 election after Fox News accurately called Arizona for Joe Biden before any other news outlet. Chris Wallace's Friday night interview show on CNN scored only 224,000 total viewers in its 10pm slot; 60,000 more people were watching Newsmax during the same time slot. The only network actively gaining viewers is MSNBC, which saw its audience numbers increase 44 per cent — likely a result of the CNN exodus. CNN's town hall with Mr Trump and moderated by Kaitlan Collins included the former president further maligning E Jean Carroll — whom he was found by a court to have sexually assaulted and defamed — calling 6 January 2021 a "beautiful day," and promising to pardon Capitol rioters who attempted to thwart the nation's democratic transfer of power after his 2020 election loss. He also continued to push the idea that the 2020 election was stolen. Blowback to the town hall was so severe that CNN star anchor Anderson Cooper made a statement on-air about the debacle, ultimately asking them to view the event as a warning about Mr Trump's political aspirations.
