Robin Roberts, the first LGBT woman to host the American game show 'Jeopardy!' was conspicuously missing from the morning show. It was revealed that she was in Berlin, Germany, hosting the Special Olympics and streaming live from there. Her exciting gig had her gushing all over her Instagram as she shared several snaps from Berlin. Meanwhile, Robert was replaced by Linsey Davis, who joined Michael Strahan and George Stephanopoulos on Monday, June 19 on 'GMA.'

The 62-year-old Robin Roberts who had been the face of ‘GMA’ since 2005 remains absent from the show’s studio as she flies to Berlin, Germany to host Special Olympics. Roberts shared a snap of herself on Instagram captioning, “Just one hour away from @specialolympics World Games Opening Ceremony! Hope you will tune in at 3 PM EST on #ABC.” She wore a bright red long-sleeved shirt, red pants and red and white sneakers. She grinned broadly in the snap, expressing her joy at the fun gig. Roberts also shared promotional photos to show ‘GMA’ fans when and what the Special Olympics Opening Ceremony was. Her broadcast aired on June 17 on ABC. Recently, she shared a snap with Timothy Shriver, the chairman of the Special Olympics, giving him a tight hug and smiling with pure joy as she witnessed the Opening Ceremony of the Special Olympics World Games.
