NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ star Robin Roberts enjoyed her honeymoon in Curacao with Amber Laign and shared a few snaps with other couples from the resort, revealing that she was denied the honeymoon suite because of one of them.
After getting married on September 8, Roberts and Laign took off to Curacao for a relaxing honeymoon, hoping to find everything to their liking.
However, despite their best efforts, the duo couldn’t land a honeymoon suite for themselves upon reaching the resort. But they met a couple who were celebrating their 30th wedding anniversary and were given the suite for the special occasion.
Roberts took to Instagram and shared a snap with this couple, alongside another couple who also got married on September 8, “very near to [their] wedding venue.”

One would expect the ‘GMA’ star to be fuming after being denied a honeymoon suite but Roberts was graceful and dealt the situation with panache
Despite not getting the honeymoon suite, Roberts didn’t create a ruckus but instead posed for a snap with the couple, Ed and Phyllis, who took the suite to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary.
Roberts was also happy to meet Paige and Andrew who got married on the same day as her and Laign, not far from them, and chose the same resort for their honeymoon.
The ‘GMA’ star shared a snap with each of the couples on her Instagram and captioned the post, "What a small world! We met Paige & Andrew who also got married on Sept 8…in CT very near our wedding venue…and we also happened to choose the same resort for our honeymoons!!”
She continued, “Neither of us got to stay in the honeymoon suite. Swipe and you’ll see the reason why. Ed & Phyllis chose it to celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary!”
Roberts and Laign were spotted cheering in the photo for Ed and Phyllis and posed with huge smiles on their faces alongside Paige and Andrew.
