NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Good Morning America’ host Robin Roberts and wife Amber Laign thanked the wedding planner for decorating the ballroom and bringing their vision of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ to life on the night of their ceremony.
The 62-year-old shared a small clip of her and Laign recently where the duo can be seen completely mesmerized by the decoration in the ballroom.
Roberts revealed that while the guests were enjoying the cocktail reception, she and Laign snuck out to witness and admire the ballroom and were delighted to see that it was exactly how they had envisioned.

In the clip shared by Roberts on Instagram, the couple could be seen walking around the ballroom and checking every little detail in the room.
The couple held their hands as they looked around, completely enchanted by what they saw.
Roberts explained in her post, "We’re thankful for all the advice we received leading up to our wedding. Many suggested before we welcomed our wonderful guests to take a moment for ourselves”
Roberts then praised her wedding planner for bringing to life her vision of ‘A Midsummer Night's Dream’ as she had requested.
She continued, “So while they were enjoying themselves in the lively cocktail reception, Sweet Amber & I took time in the ballroom to be in the moment and appreciate the talents of @jengouldevents & @farmingtongardensct to turn our vision of a Midsummer Night Dream into a stunningly, beautiful reality.”
Laign also commented and hailed the wedding planner for bringing to life their vision for the wedding.
She wrote, “I will never forget walking in and turning the corner from the back entrance and being enveloped by the beauty of this room. So happy we did this, my love.”
Laign extended her gratitude and said, “@jengouldevents and @joanngregoli THANK YOU for taking our vision and making it a reality. Truly unbelievable! @farmingtongardensct was the perfect venue from top to bottom from start to finish. Thank you.”
‘GMA’ co-hosts and fans react to Robin Roberts’ ballroom moment with Amber Laign
As Roberts shared the clip, revealing what she and Laign were up to during the cocktail reception, a few co-hosts of hers at ‘GMA’ were surprised by it, while fans were awestruck by the moment.
‘GMA’ host Gio Benitez wrote, “Oh I love that this was happening during the cocktail hour! Brilliant and beautiful”
‘GMA’ correspondent Erielle Reshef said, “Garden of dreams” while Benitez’s husband, Tommy Didario, wrote, “Just beautiful. Can we do a wedding part 2?”
A fan of Roberts’ also wrote, “To find love like this…” while another added, “Your extraordinary event environment looked like a dream!! A beautiful celebration for two who have each other to live out that dream.”
