LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Alabama Barker recently startled her 1.9 million Instagram fans by making her account private and removing her profile photo. In less than a week, though, the teen has returned to the social media platform, a move that is now being mocked by her fans.
Alabama has generated worry for months, with followers criticizing her social media postings as "too mature" for her age. Travis Barker's daughter recently sparked controversy when she colored her hair blue. Earlier this month, she posted a frightening hate letter she got while pleading with supporters for "body positivity." Alabama shared the hate-filled direct message from the online troll on her Instagram Stories.
'She's safe and sound'
Shanna Moakler has previously addressed fan worries about her daughter Alabama's safety after the teenager made a significant adjustment to her social media presence. "Girl, please get in touch with your Alabama, her live ended so scary, and now she's private on all her platforms," one fan remarked on one of the former Miss New York winner's recent posts.
"She's safe and sound," the model answered, claiming that her kid is OK.
Over the weekend, the upcoming artist seemed to wipe her page, making it private and removing even her profile picture. However, not many days later, on July 25, Alabama seemed to have unarchived some of her activities as she made her return to the 'Gram with a mere 22 posts.
In the most recent post, she posed in a black body-con dress paired with a black skirt with the words "I AM SIN" cut out across the dress. In the captions, she just used emojis, "❤️🔥."
'Girl your break lasted three seconds 😂'
With the sudden comeback, Alabama was bombarded with questions like, "Two day “break”?" One user quipped, "You weren’t gone for long friend." Another person took a jab at her saying, "Girl your break lasted three seconds 😂. Hope u ok tho ❤️." A fourth person commented, "I thought she was taking a break 😭."
One user also wrote, "I thought we was on a break." Another person added, "Girl took a one-day break then came back like girl bye." One follower noted, "girl it wasnt even that long bffr." One person left a long note saying, " your last post said you were taking a break from social media…. Did the less than 24 hours off social media heal you? Or are you just continuing to fire back at concerned “older folks” like me with young kids that your posts are completely fine and appropriate for your age… just curious 🤨."
