NEW YORK CITY, NEW YORK: ‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski took to her platform ‘Know Your Value’ and addressed menopause and other issues with her fans as she talked about her own experience with it.
Brzezinski admitted to going through “menopausal symptoms” and revealed that her sleep has been affected by it. The ‘Morning Joe’ host reached out to her fans for a solution to her sleeping issues.
In response, Brzezinski’s fans rushed to her post with advice while also relating to the host’s “struggle”.
Mika Brzezinski asks for a solution as she struggles with sleep
On Instagram, ‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski shared a video of herself on ‘Know Your Value’s official page.
In the video, Brzezinski said, “Here at Know Your Value I ask you to tell me what your struggles are. Here’s one of mine. I don’t sleep well, at all. And when I don’t sleep well, my face breaks out, I don’t eat well, everything just goes downhill.”
She continued, “So what are your solutions because with HRT and menopause, it seems like things have gotten worse and nothing is working. And very honestly I’m still using a doctor to help me with sleep aids. But I just wish I could sleep better.”
“Does anybody out there, over the age of 50…sleep?” Brzezinski asked in the video. Her caption also amplified her struggle.
In the caption, the ‘Morning Joe’ host wrote, “After 16 years of working on @MorningJoe and 36 years in the TV industry, I’ve navigated late nights and early mornings, and as a result, my #sleep has suffered… Sometimes it’s really bad…I’m always looking for solutions."
She added, “ANY SOLUTION! Especially now with #menopausal symptoms making everything so much worse! So I ask you this question…Does anyone over the age of 50 sleep?”

In response to ‘Morning Joe’ host Mika Brzezinski’s video, her fans have made sure that she doesn’t feel alone in her struggles.
One fan commented, “Oh this is a HUGE issue for millions of us. Like many, I go to bed, sleep a few hours and wake up. I then proceed to the panic/anxiety mode of, Is this it for the night? It is a struggle.”
“I had the same struggles. It’s horrible. Went into menopause @ 49. I’m 68, still struggling. Naps help. Exercise, cut out sugar,” one fan advised, while another said, “Same girl…SAME.”
Fans continued to relate to Brzezinski as one wrote, “Nope! No sleep here. It’s infuriating,” while another commented, “I wish I could. It’s basically torture.”
Fans flooded her comments section with several tips and tricks. “It changes! Have you tried a sound machine? They relax me and help quiet the mind clutter,” one wrote.
