LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA: Recently, Lisa Cloud opened up about how her son, Angus Cloud, was in good spirits the last time she saw him before his tragic death on July 31 at the age of 25.
“He was so beautiful and creative," Lisa claimed, before recalling the 'Euphoria' star's final moments in an interview with People.
"He loved his home and he loved this little, tiny room," Lisa added, referring to a wooden desk, splattered with similar paint used by legend Jackson Pollock.
"This is where my boy passed away." Recalling the moment when she realized she may have lost her boy forever, Lisa said, "I started shaking him and screaming. I pushed him hard, and he fell on the floor. I tried to resuscitate him — mouth to mouth — and I was compressing him.”
Emotional Lisa said, “I was screaming for my neighbor because I didn't want to leave him and call 911, and I just kept at it until they took him away."
"I miss him so much. He was the love of my life."
How did Angus Cloud die?
Nearly two months after his death, the Alameda County Coroner revealed that Angus died of acute intoxication following an accidental overdose.
As per People, The 25-year-old had cocaine, methamphetamine, fentanyl, and benzodiazepines (depressant drugs often used to treat conditions such as anxiety disorders, insomnia, and seizures) in his system at the time of his death.
“It was predominantly the central nervous system depressants. It started to slow his heart and slow his breathing," continued Lisa.
Adding, "He got tired from lack of oxygen. Everything just slowed down, and eventually, his heart stopped and he went to sleep. But he didn't kill himself.”
She further said, “He went out at his total power, his total beauty, his total influence, and the reaction that everyone has had is very moving to me. You know, he's not just an actor who overdosed. He was a beautiful soul, and that's why people miss him so much."

Angus' close friend also mourned his death, "I lost two of my best friends basically on the same day from fentanyl. I feel cursed,” said Daniel Aguilera.
Adding, “I should have stayed with Conor. I don't know how to live with myself. But I am blessed I had them both in my life."
Angus' co-star Zendaya said, "I’m lucky because I got to experience the most beautiful parts of him."
Further adding, "I got to watch him create and I got to watch him discover the fact that he was an actor. A damn good one at that, and as many times as I would tell him or compliment his performance, I don’t think he ever truly believed it."
